Hi,
I started in the ecosystem a few years back in a pretty similar scenario. This is what worked for me back in the day:
1. Get a Developer Sandbox from your Org. Usually there are many licenses available cause Salesforce includes lots of them. This will give you a place to play and practice with the workflows and automations that you already use and know from your Sales Lead role.
2. Use your expertise and background as Sales Lead to practice, try to build what you want to have as a Sales Lead. Of course you can use Trailhead, AI, Salesforce Ben and other Forums to find how-to... What is important here is that you can use your current expertise to leverage your Salesforce skills, and who knows, you may get your first deployed solution from there!
3. Get practice exams. I've been using Focus on Force for all my certifications and they usually worked pretty well. Here, it is important that you get the type of questions that Salesforce asks, how they are phrased and identify the tricky ones... because yes, some questions are tricky, so that will get you better prepared for the exam.
Trailhead works, especially if you are starting, but I think is important to understand how to apply that knowledge in your day-to-day.

I am 30 years old and have a lot of potential to learn, but I am brand new to Salesforce. My father in law highly recommended I come here to find my path.
I find excitement in new challenges, and hope to find a job that with the right training, I can be capable of excelling and expanding off of my ability to organize and prioritize.

Developer is the path of development with code while admin does the no code role mostly. Once decided start working on learning trailmixes from trailhead. I am trying the following calculated field which does not error in the editor but doesn't return the expected values.
IF (SUM([P_L_Revenue]) = 0 AND SUM([BP_Revenue_Target]) > 1) THEN 0
ELSEIF SUM([P_L_Revenue]) >= SUM([BP_Revenue_Target]) THEN 1
ELSEIF SUM([P_L_Revenue]) < [Revenue Below Target] THEN 3
ELSE 2
END
Where I have null P_L_Revenue and $40,000 in BP_Revenue_Target, I do not get 0, ELSE 2 comes in to effect.

...or you can put a ZN function in-front of each value...this just means any nulls get read as zeros.
So would be
IF (SUM(ZN([P_L_Revenue])) = 0 AND SUM(ZN([BP_Revenue_Target)]) > 1) THEN 0
ELSEIF SUM(ZN([P_L_Revenue])) >= SUM(ZN([BP_Revenue_Target])) THEN 1
ELSEIF SUM(ZN([P_L_Revenue])) < [Revenue Below Target] THEN 3
ELSE 2
END

A committed person for change is a trailblazer
Hi All, I have registered for the Associate certificate exam from webassessor.com till the last step. I received an email stating my registration is failed to process due to which the exam was not scheduled and the status showing for the same in Receipts tab is cancelled.
But now when I am trying to re-register for the same I am not getting Register option, its showing you have already registered for the exam.
Not getting any option tried to refresh and re-login the site.
