Using Anypoint Code Builder with agent-fabric-transformation 1.6.0 (agent-network.yaml, agentNetwork: 2.0.0).

Every Deploy logs this warning for my AgentScript broker:

Warning: Broker 'customer_support_broker' does not declare an 'authorization' configuration, so it will fall back to the 'user-context-propagation' policy defaults: userIdExpression '#authentication.clientId' and allowAnonymousAccess true (requests whose principal cannot be determined are forwarded anonymously). To change this, set authorization under the broker's interfaces.a2a section, e.g.:

brokers:

    customer_support_broker:

       interfaces:

          a2a:

             authorization:

                 principal: '

#attributes.clientId

'

                 allowAnonymousAccess: false

At runtime this also throws a recurring "User ID expression resolved to invalid non-string value" warning, since I have no Client ID Enforcement policy configured (I don't need real caller identity — this broker isn't meant to authenticate clients).

Problem: following the warning's own suggested fix fails Build validation:

Message: brokers/customer_support_broker/interfaces/a2a must NOT have additional properties

So authorization isn't actually a field the current agent-network.yaml schema (v2, as validated by agent-fabric-transformation 1.6.0) accepts under interfaces.a2a — it only allows card and policies.

I then tried explicitly declaring the policy under policies.inbound instead:

brokers:

     customer_support_broker:

         interfaces:

             a2a:

                 policies:

                     inbound:

                         - policy:

                             ref:

                                 name: user-context-propagation

                                 namespace: 68ef9520-24e9-4cf2-b2f5-620025690913

                             configuration:

                                 userIdExpression: '

#"anonymous"

'

                                 allowAnonymousAccess: true

(namespace taken from the groupId on the built connection.json's policyRef for this same policy). This passes schema validation but fails with:

Cannot resolve reference user-context-propagation of kind policy (http://a.ml/vocabularies/data#invalid-reference-like)

Questions:

  1. What's the actual supported syntax to override this auto-injected default policy's configuration from agent-network.yaml?
  2. Is the authorization block from the warning message a planned/upcoming field not yet implemented in 1.6.0, or am I missing something?
  3. Alternatively, is there a supported way to just suppress the userIdExpression warning without adding real Client ID Enforcement?

Happy to share the full agent-network.yaml if useful.

When I deploy mule app to cloudhub 2.0 on runtime 4.9.7.x , i can see below error.  error:  Optional[api-config]` has flow mappings but they are not iterable, the model `APIKit` must have changed incompatibly    Upon researching on this the suggested solution I found is either revert app to 4.9.6 or use latest version of api kit router like1.11.8 or higher.    Does anyone knows if we have anyother solution rather upgrading each time api kit router version?

    Hi Niraj!

This looks like a compatibility issue between the Mule runtime 4.9.7.x and the APIKit model used by the application. If the application was built with an older APIKit Router version, the runtime can fail while interpreting the APIKit flow mappings.

Apart from downgrading the runtime or manually upgrading the APIKit Router, I’d check whether the application is inheriting an older APIKit dependency through the project’s pom.xml or Exchange dependencies. Running a Maven dependency tree can help identify which APIKit version is actually being packaged.

If the APIKit Router version is being resolved transitively, explicitly pinning a compatible version in the project dependency management may avoid having to update it individually across applications.

For a large number of apps, it may also be worth standardizing the APIKit version through the Maven parent/dependency-management configuration so future runtime upgrades don’t require changing every project separately.

    Hi @Prashant Jain

This looks like an onboarding/provisioning issue rather than a tenant-key issue. The error

“Organization is not yet onboarded to GDoT”

generally means the Salesforce org needs to be provisioned/onboarded before the Anypoint Platform connection can be established.

Please check with your Salesforce/MuleSoft admin or MuleSoft Support/CSM team to confirm the org's GDoT onboarding status. Once onboarding is completed, retry using the Salesforce Org Tenant Key from Setup → MuleSoft → Anypoint Platform Setup

The pricing changes are pretty clear, and it’s good to see AI features being included across the paid plans. The Salesforce Channels addition should also make things easier for teams already using both platforms. The Business+ price increase will be an important consideration for some teams.

Hi, the current version of the SAP JCo connector enforces the name of the containing jar at runtime.

This will lead to exceptions, if it doesn't match the name (sapjco3.jar).

JCo initialization failed with java.lang.ExceptionInInitializerError: Illegal JCo archive "com.sap.conn.jco.sapjco3-3.1.13.jar".

It is not allowed to rename or repackage the original archive "sapjco3.jar".

Caused by: java.lang.ExceptionInInitializerError: JCo initialization failed with java.lang.ExceptionInInitializerError:

Illegal JCo archive "com.sap.conn.jco.sapjco3-3.1.13.jar". It is not allowed to rename or repackage the original archive "sapjco3.jar".

This is a known issue described in the documentation:

-

https://docs.mulesoft.com/sap-connector/latest/sap-connector-troubleshooting#jco-renaming-conflicts

-

https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=001117810&type=1

To resolve this error, the maven-shade-plugin should be added to pom.xml which relocate (rewrite) packages to avoid classpath conflicts. Unfortunately, this approach works only at runtime, but not for MUnit tests. Does anyone know how to configure the pom.xml file for the MUnit tests?

    There is a solution.

    • Define two profiles in the pom.xml file.
    • Profile 1: runtime -> for the runtime environment, Profile 2: test -> for MUnit tests.
    • Load the JCo dependencies for the runtime profile via Maven and use the maven-shade-plugin.
    • For the MUnit tests, the JCo files (sapjco3.jar, sapidoc3.jar, sapjco3.dll, and libsapjco3.so) must be referenced from or downloaded from an artifact repository. They should then be referenced using the attributes <scope>system</scope> and <systemPath>${saplibs}/sapjco3.jar</systemPath>.
    • This solution works both locally in Anypoint Studio and on the server side through a CI/CD pipeline.

How to report an issue with data in your Public Nexus Repository?

I tried to find some contact to the repository maintainers, but to no avail.

In group org.hibernate, for artifact hibernate-entitymanager, your maven-metadata.xml lists version 4.2.21.Final-atlassian-5 which doesn't exist in your repository.

Compare: https://repository.mulesoft.org/nexus/repository/public/org/hibernate/hibernate-entitymanager/maven-metadata.xml

with: https://repository.mulesoft.org/nexus/service/rest/repository/browse/public/org/hibernate/hibernate-entitymanager/

It breaks things with loose dependencies (that don't refer to some particular artifact version, but rather to a version range).

It would be good to fix that.

Creating a support case isn't what I'd like to do. It's a public service, while to create a support ticket I need to have an active contract which doesn't make a sense in this case.
