I complete all the steps, and my end result is working as expected (screenshot below), but it still doesn't pass me: "The 'Translate Survey Input' action is either missing, named incorrectly, or not positioned after the existing Get elements in the 'Translate Fitness Survey Input' flow. Review the 'Work with the Prompt Template in a Flow' scenario and related Help article for element configuration."

Agentblazer Innovator | Superbadge: Translate Text with a Prompt Template and Record-Triggered Flow

I've started from scratch a few times and used a new org, but no luck. Can anyone help? Am I missing something?

If the Flow is working but the superbadge still fails, I’d trust the validator message here — it’s likely checking the Flow metadata/element structure, not just the runtime result.

I’d verify the exact API/element name and make sure Translate Survey Input is directly after the required Get elements in the Flow path. Also check there isn’t an older duplicate element confusing the validator.

I have a requirement to build a Flow that will send out a series of emails to Lead prospects based on the Lead Source. Each Lead Source has it's own unique set of emails that will be sent out on a timeline. There are 4 total Lead Sources that will have a series of emails sent out. Each Lead Source will get the following schedule of emails:

Immediately after creation of Lead, 2 Days after, 4 Days after, 7 Days after, 10 Days after, 30 Days after, 60 Days after, 90 Days after, 120 Days after, 150 Days after, 180 Days after, 210 Days after, 240 Days after, 270 Days after, 300 Days after, 330 Days after, and 360 Days after Lead creation.

So that would be 17 different scheduled paths and there are 4 Lead Sources so that would make a total of 68 email possibilities.

What would make the most since in a design for this Flow structure. I could use Decision elements after each Scheduled Path and have email alerts. Doing so would make a large Flow. What would be a better solution is designing this type of Flow?

    I wouldn’t build 68 scheduled paths here. I’d make the cadence data-driven.

Store Lead Source + Day Offset + Email Template/Alert in Custom Metadata (or a custom object), then have a scheduled process pick up the next due email. That keeps the Flow small and makes changing the sequence a configuration change instead of a Flow redesign.

Hi Tableau Community! I am looking to create a License Matrix for my org. We are currently going through a merger and acquisition, and we want to do an inventory of both environments.

I have data prepped through Tableau Prep. Attached Excel file is the dummy data of the Output.

I have also attached the Tableau .twbx of a WIP file.

Below is the License Matrix we want to create (numbers are not accurate. This is just a mock of what we want to recreate).

How to Create a Matrix?

Much appreciate the help! Any tips would be great. Please note I can use Tableau Prep to massage the data if required.

I'm glad you're figuring this out. Your data and/or LOD calc needs to be cleaned up as it is not returning a single value per user (see image below). But to fix your user counts you need to change the CNT(User) on the License Matrix sheet to CNTD(User) to count distinct users.I'm glad you're figuring this out. Your data and/or LOD calc needs to be cleaned up as it is not returning a single value per user (see image below).

I have a screen flow on a campaign page that a user can run to tag all related opportunities (Donations actually, this is NPSP) for further processing, which will be thank-you letters in Apsona. It basically just un-checks a checkbox on all donation records that are checked from last time, then checks the same checkbox for all donations related to the current campaign.

I have an on-update flow that normally runs when a donation record is updated, but I DON'T want it to run when that screen flow causes all those updates.

When the number of donations gets too large, I end up with

Apex CPU time limit exceeded

errors.

Any thoughts? Thank you!

I wanted to come back and close the loop on this (one of my pet peeves is when people leave issues open, or worse, close it out with "I figured it out" and NOT provide details for others who come along!).

Because that particular checkbox field is used exclusively for this purpose, I added the following entry condition to the "big flow" that typically runs every time a donation (opportunity) record is created or updated.

    Condition: Formula Evaluates to True

    NOT( ISCHANGED({!$Record.For_Apsona_Merge__c}))

I have a flow that creates a Conversion Event record (custom object) whenever a Campaign Line (CLN) record (related custom object) is created (via the Clone button). Typically, there are multiple Conversion Events, which are auto-numbered, related to a CLN. The intention of the flow is to clone/copy over those Conversion Events from the old CLN to the new cloned CLN without the user having to recreate them.

In the flow, I use a Get Records to pull all the Conversion Event info from the previous CLNs and then loop through all the records and use an Assignment to assign the values to the field variables and a Collection to hold all of the newly created records. However, I have one field, a picklist that is just a list of numbers 1-20, that doesn't always pull the number from the looped records and populate in the new Conversion Event record.

Does anyone know why this would happen and how it can be fixed? I'm wondering if there is something nuanced about using numbers in a picklist that I don't know about?

Thanks!

     Hii Lisa,

The 1–20 picklist values are not the issue. I would check the Flow’s loop or assignment

    pattern first.

Make sure the picklist is assigned directly from Current Item from Loop to the new record variable, then add that record variable to the collection. Create the records after the loop, not inside it. Salesforce specifically recommends this pattern because the Current Item is reset on each iteration.

Also verify that the picklist values are "Active" and available for the target "Record Type"

(and controlling value, if it’s dependent).

    Check this for references:

Hello!

I want to create a flow that launches a case, but only on a quarterly basis.  I am not seeing where I can do that in the flow.

For a Template-Triggered Prompt Flow using the 'Service Email Summary Template Capability,' the only input available is plain Email Content text — no Case ID or record reference. Is there any way to also pass in a Case record or its fields with this specific flow type and capability, or is that a hard limitation?

    @Tugba Salis

your read is correct here - this is a hard limitation, not something that you are missing in the config.

Standard capability templates have a fixed input defined by the feature that invokes them. Einstein Email Summaries fires against the email itself, so the capability hands the template the email content and nothing else.

So the way I see it you have two options here:

Option 1 - you may be able to parse the Case Id from the email text. If your org uses ref ID threading for Email-to-Case, then the case id would be in the email body, and you can use the prompt flow to parse it out.

Option 2 - build a Flex template instead. Flex templates let you define your own inputs, so you can pass the Case record and use it how you please. You can use this through a quick action / screen flow / agent action / apex - whatever works for you.

Let me know if that makes sense

    Thanks

    Steve

I'm working on a Flow that needs to update a large batch of related records (a few thousand) triggered from a record update on the parent object. I've read that Record-Triggered Flows can run into governor limits or performance issues at scale, and I'm trying to figure out the right pattern before I build this out further.

For those who've dealt with bulk updates like this — is it better to handle this with a Scheduled Flow / batch approach instead of a real-time Record-Triggered Flow, or is there a cleaner declarative pattern I'm missing? Trying to avoid needing an Apex trigger if possible, but open to it if that's genuinely the better path here.

The limit for number of records to be updated before hitting a limit is 10k across all DML statements (see documentation) so you should be able to use an assignment and a collection variable to update the value(s) needed and then do the update DML on the collection without an issue based solely on what is described here. I personally don't like scheduled flows as I've encountered some unexpected/unexplained behavior with them. Hope this helps!

Hi All,

We have an  Invoice and We need to remove the comment.

I tried to remove the comments using Salesforce Inspector, but the Edit button is disabled. This could be because the invoice has already been approved and the ProcessInstanceStep object, ,which  is read-only.

Could you please advise on how we can remove these comments?

Request to Remove Approval Comment from Invoices

Thank you in advance

Hi @Roopa Sharma -  ProcessInstanceStep is read-only, and the approver comment cannot be edited or deleted after the approval step is created. Salesforce Inspector won't be able to update it. If the comment must be removed, you'll need to consider resetting/recreating the approval
