I used a VPN briefly and now all of my hands-on orgs are not able to be launched. Some of my specific orgs for badges do not expire for 5 days (!!) so I cannot do anything. I am essentially frozen out by Salesforce's, shall we say interesting, approach now to security. It is a mess.

    Hi @Ian Armstrong

It sounds like Salesforce may have temporarily restricted access due to the VPN activity being flagged as a security risk. A few things you can try:

    • Log out of all Salesforce sessions and retry without the VPN.
    • Clear your browser cache or test in an incognito/private window.
    • If the users in the org are actually frozen, check whether you can still access the org through the login page instead of launching from Trailhead.
    • For Trailhead playgrounds and hands-on orgs, the issue is often account-related rather than a badge-specific problem.

If the problem persists across multiple orgs, I'd recommend contacting Trailhead Help and providing the affected org URLs and screenshots of any error messages. They can verify whether a security lock or account restriction has been applied.

Hi everyone,

I have an issue with 3 new users in our Salesforce org.

They replaced former employees, and I reused the former employees' Salesforce User records instead of creating new Users. I changed the name and username.

The users are Active and not Frozen, but they cannot complete the login process normally.

As an admin, I can generate a Temporary Verification Code. They can log in with it and reach the QR code screen to set up MFA, but I’m wondering if the previous user's MFA/verification method could still be linked to the User record.

Is there an official way to disconnect the previous user's MFA/verification method and register a new one for the new user?

Also, could this be related to any Summer ’26 MFA/authentication changes?

Would it be better practice to deactivate the old User and create a completely new User for each new employee?

Thanks for any advice!

And sorry for my English — I’m French 😊

Thanks for sharing the documentation! I checked the three User records, but there is currently no MFA verification method registered on any of them, so there is no “Disconnect” or “Remove” option available.

The users can log in with a Temporary Verification Code

    Hi @K Shalini,

Please make sure the deails are as follows:

    Add a Remote Site

Also, if you can provide screenshots of your Remote Sites, it would help us analyze the exact cause.

When trying to log into the mobile app, I hit the verify identity button and nothing happens. Has anyone else experienced this?

Hi Nonprofit Cloud Community 👋

I’m currently preparing for my Salesforce Agentforce Nonprofit Cloud Certification and would really appreciate some help.

Does anyone have practice questions, or mock exams, they can share or recommend for preparation?

I have been doing the NPC trails but would appreciate to get some exam materials.

Thank you! 🙏🏽

Hi, trailmixes are the first and authentic source but you may find practice exams from google as free ones are available there.

What happened to being able to view the "Open Count" in the My Feed in Sales Engagement???? This was a crucial item for my business development team in seeing quickly who is opening emails multiple times - and a trigger for them to reach out in a more personal way and win deals. Opening each item in My Feed and going to the Engagement tab for every single one is a GIANT time killer.

Hello Everyone,

I published a very big dashboard with 17 dashboards and more than 10 data sources inside.

the goal of this is to be able to extract all the dashboards as a PDF at once.

So when the processing is ended, nothing happen. I guess the pdf should be in my windows download but nothing there.

DOWNLOAD PDF from TABLEAU SERVER

Does anyone knows what to do to get my 17 dashboards downloaded ?

thanks a lot for you help

    @Antoine Maugirard

Good clue that PowerPoint fails the same way — that points away from a PDF-specific problem and toward the server-side export itself. With 17 dashboards and 10+ data sources, it's usually one of two things.

    1) Antivirus or endpoint security sitting between your machine and Tableau Server can interrupt the file mid-generation, so the render "finishes" but nothing ever lands in your Downloads. Try a different browser, and ask IT to add a Tableau Server exclusion (or pause AV briefly just to confirm) — Salesforce documents this exact "processing then no file" behaviour.

    2) Size/timeout — a workbook this big can time out while the browser dialog compiles every sheet. The reliable way to get all sheets in one file is tabcmd instead of the in-browser dialog:

tabcmd export "WorkbookName/AnyViewName" --fullpdf --pagesize letter -f "

    C:\allsheets.pdf

Two gotchas: include a view name after the workbook (even though --fullpdf exports the whole thing), and the workbook must be published with "Show Sheets as Tabs" enabled or --fullpdf outputs only that one view (toggle it on the workbook's Details page in Server). A scheduled Subscription with PDF format is a good hands-off option too.

If this helps, please mark it as the Best Answer so it helps the next person - thanks!

Hello Everyone,

I'm working on the Data Security > Control Access to Objects module and trying to complete the hands-on challenge.

The challenge requires creating a Manage Positions permission set and assigning permissions to the Position object. However, I can't find the Recruiting sample objects in any of my Trailhead Playgrounds.

I checked:

  • Setup → Object Manager
  • Permission Sets → Object Settings
  • App Launcher
  • Installed Packages

The following objects are missing:

  • Position
  • Candidate
  • Job Application
  • Review

Standard objects such as Account, Contact, and Case are available, but the Recruiting objects referenced throughout the module do not exist.

I have tried:

  1. Using my existing Salesforce Playground.
  2. Creating a brand-new Trailhead Playground.
  3. Verifying that I'm using the correct hands-on org.

Because the Position object is missing, I'm unable to create the Manage Positions permission set required for the challenge.

Has anyone encountered this issue recently? Is there a package that needs to be installed, or are there updated instructions for completing this challenge?

Thank you for your help.
