Hi everyone :)

I am trying to find if there is a way (simple or not), to clone an agent.

Eg, there is an existing agent in an org, and I want to clone the framework to create a new agent.

Any ideas?

Hi, deactivate any users with User License = Salesforce Platform in the org that are not needed for the challenge. Now you should have the option for the new users.

Unable to get course marked completed.

I keep receiving this message:

We see you're using the Agentforce org from the quick start. But it's not prepared for agent deployment into Slack. Complete the steps from the quick start to ensure you can set up the agent.

I’ve just posted an IdeaExchange idea proposing structured navigation templates across Salesforce Help articles

.

Think of it like a Wikipedia-style navigation box

at the bottom of Salesforce Help pages — connecting related topics such as Data 360, Agentforce, Data Streams, Data Transforms, Identity Resolution, Segmentation, etc.

The goal is to make it easier for:

  •  👩‍💻 Admins, developers & consultants to discover related documentation
  •  🔎 Humans to navigate the Salesforce knowledge ecosystem
  •  🤖 AI agents to discover the right supporting documentation and understand relationships between topics

This isn't about creating more documentation — it's about making the enormous amount of existing Salesforce documentation easier to discover and connect.

If you think this would improve the Salesforce Help experience, please upvote the IdeaExchange idea and add your use case/comment

. 🙌

Long story short, I have downloaded my certificate, but I lost it when I reset my PC. Is there a possibility of reissuance? I managed to secure a photo of it so I can provide details such as Certificate ID and date of issue.

If you mean a Salesforce virtual internship completion certificate, I’d recommend contacting the program or platform that issued the certificate. Explain that you need it reissued and provide your name, internship details, and any original certificate or completion proof you have. They should be able to confirm whether a replacement copy can be generated.

I have a trailhead module listed under private training as its for Canadian employees only. It's called: Complete Training: Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Awareness. Within the module there is a link to a external website and you have to work through the content and do a test. The webiste keeps crashing and not allowing me to advance for past two weeks, it is not saving my history so I have to keep starting over. I have wasted hours on this. this is the link to the website: https://www.labour.gov.on.ca/english/hs/elearn/worker/foursteps.php

Hello,

I'm trying to complete this challenge but after I create the permission set "Manage Job Applications" I cannot locate these two items:

  • Enable Job Application Object Permissions: Read and Edit
  • Enable Job Application Field Permissions: Assigned users can view all fields and edit all fields, except they can’t edit Position and Candidate.

Based on the training, I should be able to search under the Permission Set and then 'Find Settings' but cannot locate. Any assistance would be helpful.

Hiiiii!

I'm trying to show an agent action's output as a custom UI (tappable buttons) in an Enhanced Chat v2 web deployment, using a Custom Lightning Type.

Setup: an Agent Script-authored Agentforce Service Agent on Messaging for In-App and Web (embedded on a web page).

When a person asks to speak to someone, the agent offers four handoff channels — Live chat, WhatsApp, Phone, Email. Today the options surface as a text list and that works end to end; I want them as clickable buttons, with the tapped option arriving back as the user's reply.

On the live widget, the agent's text arrives but the component never renders.

What's the supported way to render agent-offered options as buttons on this channel, end to end? Specifically - does CLT output rendering on Enhanced Chat v2 work for agents connected through a Messaging channel, or only via the Agentforce Builder "Enhanced Chat v2" connection?

I am having great difficulty getting it to work - all I need is to have the agent surface options as clickable buttons.

Any ideas?

Hi Megan, good news, your channel is fine: Custom Lightning Types are supported on Enhanced Chat v2 (the web deployment of Messaging for In-App and Web), alongside Lightning Experience and Experience Builder. They are NOT supported on In-App Chat (the mobile SDK), WhatsApp, SMS, Apple Messages, LINE, or BYOC, but plain Enhanced Web Chat is supported.

Your symptom, text arrives but the component never renders on the live widget, almost always means the renderer is not registered for the enhancedWebChat channel specifically. CLT rendering is channel-scoped: each channel that should render the type needs its own renderer.json in that channel's folder. If your type only has a renderer for the default context (or you were seeing it only in the Builder conversation preview), it renders in preview but stays blank on the live Enhanced Chat v2 widget, which is exactly what you describe.

    So:

    1. Add and deploy a renderer.json for your Custom Lightning Type under the enhancedWebChat channel folder, not just the default one, pointing at your LWC.

    2. Redeploy and reload the embedded deployment so the new channel config is picked up.

    3. For the tapped option arriving back as the user's reply, have the LWC dispatch the selected value as the utterance, that part is on the component, not the channel.

The Agentforce dev guide 'Enhance the Agent UI with Custom LWCs and Lightning Types' documents the per-channel renderer setup.

if this helps, please mark it as the Best Answer so it helps the next person, thanks 🙂

Hi Everyone :)

Is there a way to add a fixed 'banner' to an embedded service deployment so that there's a constant disclaimer on the chat? Similar to the 'Powered by Agentforce' but customised text?

    Hey Megan,

Adding one thing to Himanshu's answer since it's mostly right but slightly understates option 2: Salesforce actually has a fully supported LWC-based header customization for Messaging (lightningSnapin__MessagingHeader target), you extend the base chat header component and can add whatever fixed text/markup you want inside it. This is documented and stays visible for the whole conversation, unlike the greeting-message approach, which scrolls away.

So realistically you have two solid, supported paths:

    1. Custom LWC header (extends BaseChatHeader/MessagingHeader), gives you a persistent banner area inside the actual chat window that Salesforce won't overwrite on releases, since it's a supported customization point, not DOM hacking

    2. A banner on your host page around the widget (Himanshu's option 1), simplest if the disclaimer doesn't need to be inside the chat window itself

Both are supported. The custom header route is probably closer to what you're picturing since it sits inside the widget alongside "Powered by Agentforce," not just around it.
