Hi there!

I have two sections (Verification and Measurement) on the Account object that I need to only show up when the "Servicer" checkbox is selected. These sections have about 15 fields each. Now these sections are only relevant to the record type "Customer" which isn't a page view so I'm curious how to accomplish this. Should I do a validation rule for each field? Can I make both sections appear in bulk? Does it matter if it's in a record type versus a page layout?

Thank you so much!

    Hi @Kate D you can use Dynamic lightning pages and use filters to achieve your goal.

    You can learn more about this here: https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sf.lightning_page_components_visibility.htm&type=5

    Basically you can put those sections as components to the page, set the filter for the field Servicer to be true and then that section would appear on the page layout.

Hi All,

I am having a weird spacing issue happening using a couple dynamic content fields simultaneously and wanted to see if anyone has seen the same issue and has come up with some way to fix it.

We have an email template set up in the following format:

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Paragraph1 - This is some text in the first paragraph of the email

Paragraph2 - This is some text in the 2nd paragraph of the email

%%Dynamic Content 1%% %%Dynamic Content 2%%

Paragraph3 - This is some text in the 3rd paragraph of the email.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The dynamic content 1 is set up where the "default" text is blank and variation1 has a paragraph of text.

The dynamic content 2 is set up where the "default" text is blank and variation 2 has a different paragraph of text.

Both dynamic content fields will never be filled out in the same email so 1 dynamic content field will always be blank "default" text.

The problem here is that whenever I preview the email if I use a prospect that satisfies the dynamic content 1 variation then I get an extra space(line break) between the dynamic content area and Paragraph 3. If I preview using a prospect that satisfies the dynamic content 2 variation then I get an extra space between Paragraph 2 and the dynamic content area.

It's almost like Pardot is putting in a line break for the "default" blank text for whichever variation is not being satisfied.  Has anyone else seen this behavior?  Anyone know a fix for this?

Thanks in advance for any assistance!

    Hi, did you ever find a solution. I'm facing the same problem. There's no <br> in the dynamic content AND the dynamic content tag is not embedded in a paragraph <p>.

#Tableau CRM #Bindings #Dynamic Content #Analytics

Hi everyone,

I am trying to use a dynamic binding to dynamically change the image widget name and consequently the picture itself..

I have uploaded 2 pictures and those are called test1png and test2png in the advance editor.

However, when I implement the binding over the name (defaulting it as test1png) it shows "image not found".

Anyone can help? Below the use case.

{{coalesce(cell(SegmentationPOS_1.selection, 0, \"Segment_Text_POS__c\"), \"test1png\").asObject()}}

{

"type": "image",

"parameters": {

"fit": "stretch",

"alignmentX": "left",

"alignmentY": "top",

"image": {

"name": "{{coalesce(cell(SegmentationPOS_1.selection, 0, \"Segment_Text_POS__c\"), \"test1png\").asObject()}}",

"namespace": ""

}

}

}

    I found the answer! Maybe worth investigating increasing the scope of the bindings to more widgets' properties?

Hello!

I'm trying to set up dynamic content for sending language-specific emails.

For context, when someone joins our email list, they get sent a privacy policy email. We're trying to use dynamic content to customize the privacy policy email based on the country they're in and the language spoken there.

The issue I've run into is, you can only have 25 dynamic content rules but I have ~70 countries/languages…

Is there a workaround / best practice to accomplish what I'm trying to do?

I am trying to create a Pardot email that will show and not show certain content based whether a user is on a certain list. However when I went to set up the dynamic content, there was no option for "prospect is on list...".

Does anyone have any ideas on how to display dynamic content based on list membership? We are trying to avoid using a custom field because we want people to be able to unsubscribe from receiving the update without opting out completely.

    @Nicole Naji

    Hi Nicole,

    Thank you for the helpful response! I think the simplest way would be to create two automation rules for filling the field and clearing it. When I was setting up the automation rules, I was trying to think through how we would allow people to opt out of just the updates they are subscribed to without opting out of all email communications. Do you know of a way we can allow people to only remove themselves from a specific list instead of opting out altogether?

    In other words, is there a link that will work to remove someone from a specific list we could include in the email instead of an unsubscribe link?

    Thank you!

    Cara

Hi,

Can someone tell me the difference between dynamic content and enhanced dynamic content? like what are the pros and cons, use cases of each and when to choose dynamic content or enhanced dynamic content?

Hello Team,

Can you please help me know if we can attain this requirement?

We want to create custom Pardot objects and map them to salesforce. And these fields in these custom object needs to be used as dynamic content in Pardot email templates.

is this possible?

Thanks,

Hari

    Pardot has no custom object capability like salesforce does. Custom fields yes, full custom objects no. You can do such things with the API and external code, but that's about it. You can use any custom fields you would like as merge tags in dynamic content.

Hello,

We are looking to create an onboarding programme which uses Dynamic Content to send customers resources based on which resources they have purchased.

The purchased resources are captured on the Product object tied to the Opportunity object in Salesforce, so I understand this cannot be used for Dynamic Content.

Customers may purchase several resources (up to 20 different products).

I did have a call with a specialist who initially suggested creating a formula field on Lead or Contact, and using Process Builder to pull through the Product information to their record. However, this only works if they purchase one resource (which isn’t the case as our customers purchase several different resources). They cannot suggest a workable solution for our use case.

Does any one have any ideas?

Many thanks

Hello,

Is it possible to put a dynamic value inside an Update Contact ? For example, I would like in a journey, doing content dynamic for men/women with a code for men and a code for women. Before the Email activity I put Update contact to have the code but apparently I can enter only static value...
