Hi All,

We are facing some issues with using Snapshots to create Scratch orgs with pre-installed managed packages

We use a base Scratch org to install all required managed packages, and we create a Snapshot out of it. Installed packages behaves fine as expected on the base Scratch org. However when we start creating Scratch orgs from a Snapshot, we notice an inconsistent behaviour.

On Scratch orgs created from Snapshot, we have noticed managed packages (Twilio as an example) having the "Status" as "Trial". Whereas on the base Scratch org it was "Free". I also tried re-installing the package manually, and the "Status" was "Free".

This inconsistent behaviour is causing issues on our current CI pipeline and delivery timelines.

It is much appreciated if you could shed some light here.

Cheers !

Hello, Are there updates on the SFDX Shape Pilot? I saw this form to register but it is closed: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfJDo3yrrOQVuBE4Op_F5Udl9XMSNdk0e7_sXjhtXYGcqjU6w/viewform

I can't find evidence that the Shape Based Scratch Orgs have gone GA yet. My customer also referenced 'SFDX Snapshots'.

I did some Googling and coming up pretty empty on these two key words.

One blog-ish post: https://salesforce.stackexchange.com/questions/252818/has-anyone-used-the-salesforce-dx-cli-shape-command

Thanks!
