Hi everyone,

We're currently experiencing an issue with Salesforce Marketing Cloud Personalization (MCP) where the JavaScript beacon fails to load for users with ad blockers enabled (e.g., Brave Browser Shields, uBlock Origin, AdBlock Plus, and similar extensions).

We came across Self-Hosting the JavaScript Beacon as a potential solution. Before proceeding, we'd appreciate some clarification on a few implementation and maintenance aspects.

About Update Process & Versioning

  1. How frequently is the JavaScript beacon typically updated by Salesforce MCP?
  2. Does Salesforce publish version numbers, release notes, or changelogs for beacon updates so customers can identify what has changed?
  3. Is there an API or endpoint available to programmatically check for the latest beacon version, or is the only option to manually download it from the MCP Admin settings?

About Implementation

  1. Should we self-host only the synchronous beacon, or should both the synchronous and asynchronous beacon files be self-hosted?
  2. Does the hosted file need to retain the original filename (evergage.min.js), or can it be renamed on our CDN?
  3. Are there any recommended CDN configurations (such as CORS headers, cache-control settings, MIME types, compression, etc.) required for the beacon to function correctly?

About Limitations & Risks

  1. Are there any MCP features, integrations, or capabilities that are not supported or may behave differently when using a self-hosted beacon?
  2. Has Salesforce observed any increase in tracking issues, data loss, or event collection discrepancies in customer environments using self-hosted beacons?
  3. If a newly released beacon version introduces an issue, does Salesforce provide access to previous versions or recommend a rollback strategy?

About Support & Best Practices

  1. Is self-hosting the beacon an officially supported deployment model by Salesforce Support, or is it considered a customer-managed implementation?
  2. Are there any customer implementation examples, reference architectures, or documented best practices for self-hosting the beacon?
  3. What is the recommended approach for validating a new beacon version before promoting it to production (e.g., sandbox testing, staged rollout, canary deployment)?

We'd appreciate any guidance, documentation, or implementation experience that the community can share.

I need to calculate a status progression metric. The new metric should be percentage of Marketing Qualified Leads that are turned into Sales Qualified Leads. The leads don't retain their Marketing Qualified Status once they become Sales Qualified Leads:    1. A lead is first MQL  2. Then later becomes SQL  But once it becomes SQL, the MQL flag/state disappear     Anyone have a suggestion on how to do this in MCI?    Thank you!

*** Important Update: Action Required — Update Your Marketing Cloud Custom Domains by July 15, 2026 ***

Please note: All impacted customers have also received a personalized email containing org-specific details and required actions.*** Important Update: Action Required — Update Your Marketing Cloud Custom Domains by July 15, 2026 ***Please note: All impacted customers have also received a personalized email containing org-specifWhat's changing?

Beginning July 15, 2026, CloudFront CDN will serve all custom image domains hosted on Marketing Cloud. All SAP and CloudPage domains must point to a Salesforce-hosted, domain-specific endpoint (DSE) to avoid disruption.

Who is impacted?

Marketing Cloud customers with custom SAP and CloudPage domains that require DNS updates — including CNAME and/or CAA record changes.

Required Actions

By July 15, 2026, work with your technical teams to complete the following for all affected SAP and CloudPage domains:

  • Update your CNAME record to point to the corresponding Salesforce-hosted, domain-specific endpoint (DSE)
  • (If applicable) Update your CAA record to include the required Certificate Authority (CA)

What Happens If You Don't Act?

If updates are not completed by July 15, 2026, your account will experience a service disruption.

What to Expect After You Act

Once updates are complete, Salesforce will migrate your image domains to CloudFront with no downtime. Verify success using a DNS or SSL checking tool.

*** Important change for:  Update Permissions for TriggeredSend SOAP API by June 19, 2026 ****** Important change for: Update Permissions for TriggeredSend SOAP API by June 19, 2026 ***On June 19, 2026, Salesforce is changing the permission requirements for executing TriggeredSend SOAP API caOn June 19, 2026, Salesforce is changing the permission requirements for executing TriggeredSend SOAP API calls within Marketing Cloud Engagement.

Required Actions

Beginning on June 19, only API users and installed packages that have the required permissions can make TriggeredSend calls via the SOAP API. Depending on your authentication method, update your permissions using these steps.

Installed Package

  1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Installed Packages, and then select Installed Packages.
  2. Select the package to modify.
  3. In the Components section, click Edit for your integration.
  4. In the Channels section, under Email, select Read, Write, and Send.
  5. Save your changes.

Username and Password

This step applies only to users with the API User setting enabled. If a user doesn’t have this setting enabled or doesn’t perform triggered email sends, no action is required.

  1. From Setup, in the Quick Find box, enter Users, and then select Users.
  2. Select a user, and then click Manage Roles.
  3. Select Edit Permissions.
  4. In the Email | Interactions | Messages | Email section, next to Triggered, select Allow.
  5. Save your changes.

Follow the step-by-step instructions in the Knowledge Article to update permissions for packages and API users.

Impact of Noncompliance

If you don't update the permissions by June 19, 2026, your TriggeredSend SOAP API calls will not send emails and return an API Permission Failed error.

Why Are We Making This Change?

To provide a more predictable and streamlined operational environment, Salesforce is aligning the permission requirements for TriggeredSend SOAP API calls used throughout Marketing Cloud Engagement. This change extends the same access controls from our other messaging features to your integrations.

What to Expect

After you update your permissions, your TriggeredSend SOAP API calls continue to function with no impact on the email delivery experience for your recipients.

To ensure uninterrupted service, update your integration permissions by June 19, 2026.

This might be a simple question, but I'm having a difficult time trying to create an anchor tag within a Visualize report. I've tried creating a Custom Widget Editor where the location for the anchor has...

<div id="anchor"></div>

...and the link to the anchor is in another Custom Widget Editor where...

<a href="

#anchor

">link</a>

...but that doesn't seem to work. Can someone please give me a suggestion what I need to do in MCI to make a simple anchor tag work in a report?

    @Brian Smith Anchor links (#anchor

) don’t work in MCI Visualize reports

    Reason:

Reports render widgets in isolated containers (iframes/shadow DOM) → no shared page scroll context

    Workaround:

Use separate widgets with navigation (buttons/filters)

Or build a custom external page/dashboard if anchor behavior is required

    Thanks

Can anyone translate this into a usable date for the day field?

2026-02-05T17:44:28.265Z

Just a few of the things I've tried:

  • changing the formatting in the preview to different syntaxs like dd-MM-yyyy'T'HH:mm:ss.SSS'Z'
  • PARSEDATE((SUBSTITUTE(csv['creation_time'],'T',' ')),'dd-MM-yyyy HH:mm:ss.SSS')
  • PARSEDATE(SUBSTITUTE(csv['creation_time'],'T',' '),'dd-MM-yyyy HH:mm:ss.SSS z')
  • PARSEDATE(csv['creation_time'],'dd-MM-yyyy'T'HH:mm:ss.SSS z')
  • PARSEDATE((LEFT(csv['creation_time'],10)),'yyyy-MM-dd')
  • PARSEDATE(orig-date,yyyy-MM-dd)

    var orig-date = LEFT(csv['creation_time'],10);

Those have all passed validation,  but then when I run a evalution, I get a message like this:

Help with format date formula
