#Action Plan0 debatiendo

I'm having some trouble automating action plans.  I'm using a record triggered flow to define criteria for an action plan running on an account.  Then I use a subflow to create an action plan for the account.

The idea is to have the tasks in the action plan assigned to the account  owner but the only option is to assign the tasks to the action plan creator which is me via the flow.  Other than getting all the tasks I created and changing the owner ID after the fact is there a way to have the tasks assigned to the account owner initially?

I have tried enabling audit fields and running the autoplaunced flow in system context.  If I run the flow as me it assigns the tasks to me, if I run it as a user that will be using this no tasks are created.

    @Ben Bolding

, did you ever identify a solution?

    @Artiom Anoutchin

, with Action Plans you don't create the tasks directly through a flow.  You create an Action Plan record, which then creates the tasks/events/etc.

During the plan creation, these are the options you are given to determine who is assigned to the task that is created during plan execution.

I have the same requirement as Ben, when a record changes, the owner of that record should be assigned the tasks defined in the action plan.  The person/integration changing the record is NOT the owner of the record.

I am trying to automatically add an action plan to a application through a flow, when inserting an application I get the following error:

This error occurred when the flow tried to create records: UNKNOWN_EXCEPTION: com.sun.media.sound.InvalidDataException: Invalid field DocumentChecklistItem.DocumentType.

Has anyone seen this before, I have access to the DocumentChecklistItem obejct and the documentType field.

Thanks

@Steven Benson How you resolved this error? UNKNOWN_EXCEPTION: com.sun.media.sound.InvalidDataException: Invalid field DocumentChecklistItem.DocumentType.

I am getting the same error. What was the permission change you did after which this was resolved?

    Thanks,

    Nilima

Yes, I can create a lookup filter on other objects like opportunities. I do not think I am exceeding the limit.

I am not aware, maybe it has to do something with the Action Plan object or the field (Action Plan Template) on which I am trying to apply filter.

Action Plan related list on Opportunity won't show

Hi, for some reason my action plan related list doesn't have a new button on it for me to create a new action plan that will show on the opportunity here. Any guidance on this is much appreciated! #Action Plan #Opportunity

    Hi Justin,

Can you check if the 'New' button is added on the said related list from the Page Layout that the Opportunity record is using?

You can also check the below documentation and discussion as a reference:

Is the intention to update associated Task status to completed?

If so.. you can use process builder automation..

It can be a process builder on action plan Object with a Field Update action.. on associated task record for status updates.

OR have a process builder/workflow rule on Task object itself to update status hen due date is past

In Setup, I am trying to set History Tracking in #Action Plan object and it doesn't appear to be available. Has anyone else experienced this? I also need Feed on the Action Plans so specific teams can collaborate on the Action Plan vs collaborating on the Target Object. Any suggestions?

How do I delete Action Plan Templates? I was trying to create Intake Checklists and want to delete the test Action Plan Templates.

There is no delete button to add to the page layout.

There is only one list view "Recently Viewed", and it does not have a delete button.

I am System Admin and the object settings are set to "delete".

Thanks.

Hi All,

We have a Customer Community using the Customer Account Portal template.

I have exported the customized template in order to add to a Package.

When I try to install this package in another Org, I get the below error:

"Validation Errors While Saving Record(s)

There were custom validation error(s) encountered while saving the affected record(s). The first validation error encountered was "The object type you specified ActionPlan is invalid."."

The exported template has the Action Plan and Action Plan Template object pages by default. We don't use these objects and the target org where I need to install this package does not have the Action Plan objects or the Action Plans Permission Set license available.

How do I remove the Action Plan related pages from the Community template in the source org?

Thanks

Hello all, I'm new here, and was linked here by @Jayson Morales

I had a couple of problems that I was hoping someone here might be able to help with.

1) In regards to Action Plans:

We are using Document Checklist Items on our Action Plans, and the Action plan recognizes the Document Checklist Item as a "Task" for "Task Completed" purposes. However, once we mark the Document Checklist Item as "Accepted" the value e.g. "2 of 12" does not update to "3 of 12".

I was wondering if anyone knew the rules for how this value gets updated? (For context, I know the 'of x' value is related to DCI since we have 8 tasks and 4 DCI in this particular Action Plan.

2) In regards to RollupByLookup Rules

We currently have some outside integrations that do not allow these rules to work properly, so I am forced to manually run these rules once a day to make sure the values are rolled up properly. I know there is some apex code that can do the same thing, but I was wondering if there was a way to automate and schedule this to run so it would not be a manual process. For context, we are using FSC Service Cloud.

Thanks in advance and nice meeting you all,

Jonas Kim
