I had a similar issue with this challenge. Try deleting the "Share Applicants Between Recruiters" rule completely and recreating it from scratch with Read/Write selected, instead of editing the existing rule. Then hard refresh the challenge page and check again — that fixed it for me.

This error usually means something in your playground is blocking the checker from creating Opportunity test records. Common causes: 

• Another active validation rule on Opportunity, often left over from an earlier module. Deactivate any you don’t need for this challenge.
• A custom required field on Opportunity. Make it not required, or set a default.
• An active Flow or trigger on Opportunity that throws an error on insert. Deactivate it temporarily.

Quick test: try creating an Opportunity manually in the org. If it fails, the error message will tell you exactly what’s blocking it. If nothing’s blocking it and the check still fails, use a fresh Trailhead Playground and redo the steps. If it still fails after that, contact Trailhead Help with the module name and a screenshot.

Hi Sunny, this usually means Salesforce is still creating the org behind the “Launch” button. A few things that normally fix it: 

Give it a few minutes. New playgrounds and special orgs can take 5–10 minutes. Leave the tab open and let it auto-refresh. 

Check the Salesforce status page (the “status page” link on that screen). If there’s an incident, you just have to wait it out. 

Try a private/incognito window or another browser, and turn off ad blockers. They sometimes stop the page from loading. 

Log in to the org directly. On the challenge page, open the org dropdown, choose your playground and click “Launch” again. Or get the username and password from the Playground Starter app and log in at login.salesforce.com. 

Still stuck after 30 minutes? Create a new Trailhead Playground from the same dropdown and connect that one. Your earned badges won’t be affected.

Your Playground Doesn’t Have the Playground Starter App

First, launch your Trailhead Playground and get your username and password. 

1. Go to any unit with a hands-on challenge, scroll to the bottom of the page, and click Launch to open your Trailhead Playground. 

2. In your playground, click and select Setup. 

3. Enter Users in the Quick Find box, then select Users. 

4. Check the box next to your name. Take note of your username. 

5. Click Reset Password(s) and then OK. This step sends an email to the address associated with your username. If you don’t see the email, check your spam folder. 

6. Click the link in the email. 

7. Enter a new password and confirm it.
