#MCTechLounge we have custom URLs set up (e.g. https://custom-link.com) where we publish the Cloud Pages. My question is: is it possible to have content on the top level domain, namely on https://custom-link.com? Until now we could publish pages only on "subfolders" (e.g. https://custom-link.com/subfolder)

Hi all,

 

does anybody know, if Einstein STO feature is considering the sender reputation? Can we fully rely on this feature for "send" ? PS: this is the only reason why we are not often using Einstein STO.

    Thanks for your answer!

    Open rate would for sure have a good impact on the sender reputation. However deliverability is more our focus for sender reputation.

    Our MC account has a frequency when it comes to daily sends and if we hit a higher amount than usual, domain providers get us blocked, which happened last year during our xmas newsletter campaign.

    I imaged, with the help of Einstein STO,we would be able to just activate our customer journeys without having the concern we would exceed our total amount of daily sends too much and Einstein would deliver our emails with a focus of open rates and plus our daily send frequency.

    E.g. when I have daily send frequency as 100K emails. I would be able to activate my journeys which would be total send of 250K and Einstein would split the send at the background, based on my account's daily send amount.

Einstein Messaging Insights - I noticed on the webinar example for a low open rate email, some of the  signal strengths were things like Medium SL length, it was sent on Sunday and people clicked a link. How can you say because someone clicked a link it caused a low open rate (It was shown as a medium signal strength). That makes no sense.

 

Also with the signal strengths and an email with a low open or click rate, does a stronger signal strength mean it's negatively contributing to the low open rate or click rate? I had one email with a low open rate and the highest signal strength was that listed said that "emails sent to aol.com addresses had more opens". What does that have to do with low open rates in general?

    Hi Susan, the example Insight about the batch send I showed yesterday was actually a design mock up as I couldn't get to one in my live demo account. The rest of the demos were live though. I can't think of a circumstance in which link clicks would affect opens, I agree. I have not seen that in a real world Insight.

    Factors in the associated are affecting the anomaly. If the anomaly is underperformance, it's contributing to that, same with overperformance.

#MC TechLounge If we have multiple regions using one instance of MC, can we use the default Einstein STO setting when we don't have enough data or do we need to use "Send Immediately" since we have business units across the globe?

    I would always recommend leaving the setting to Let Einstein Decide. Einstein will build personal timing models for as many contacts as possible, making sure they receive sends at times that suit them. You may want to monitor the % of contacts/email addresses that have personalized models carefully though, in your dashboard.

If you utilize triggered sends, will Einstein be able to analyze what times performed best throughout that type of send? Ex. if you send from 1pm-7pm, will it analyze what times during that send were best? #MCTechLounge

    Einstein analyzes emails in context of exactly when they are sent, after throttling, yes. If you use Einstein STO to optimize a send's timings and that send then has throttling applied, the throttling will most likely impact send times though, if that's the question.
