#Unmanaged Package0 discutindo

I've built a 2GP Package that I am trying to release as a Unlocked Package.

I've overcome various validation errors due to missing features or settings in my Scratch Org Definition file.

However my package includes a Sharing Set which depends on the Contact being 'Private' and by default its 'Controlled by Parent', is there a way to define this feature/setting in my Scratch Org Definition File?

@Tom Bassett this might help you - https://salesforce.stackexchange.com/questions/218183/sfdx-sharing-settings-scratch-orgs

Is your package ultimately intended for public consumption, or are you just using it internally with your own org(s)?  Deploying sharing-related settings on standard objects can be tricky because the destination org may have valid reasons for how sharing is configured on their standard objects and can't change to support your package.

I was creating a unManaged package for an App but I getting the error : Cannot package article types.

I want to take the backup of complete app. So is there any other workaround ? Please let me know.

 Hello there

I was wondering if the content of the translation workbench could be also deployed as part of an unmanaged package.

As I have seen so far translation workbench can be deployed between diffent environment via import/export functionality, but this would be a manual step

Hi - We have over 1,000 custom objects in our org. How do I get a link to an unmanaged package so we can modify the code to expose all of our objects Thanks!

Hi all, I am a beginner admin and I would like to use some kind of app which allows to track dev changes and help me to deploy easily all changes. I've found some very interesting information via one of the keynotes of Dreamforce 2019 I guess: https://www.salesforce.com/video/7831010/

In sum, it's about an unmanaged package which helps for documenting your Salesforce Development And Deployment actions. I've sucessfully installed the unmanaged packages in one of my sandboxes, but what's the next step now? I can't find the app or do I need to create the app myself? Any help would be realy appreciated! thanks in advance!

I'm trying to create an unmanaged package for deploying into the org. When adding an App bunch of additional components are added to the package. I want to remove them but there is no possibility. How can I delete components from my package that were added automatically (without raising case to SF)?

We have an unmanaged package called 'MapAnything Fields & Workflow Rules' alongside our MapAnything managed package. It appears to be mostly the "clean" address fields on a handful of standard objects, but I don't see anything comparable in SF Maps. I uninstalled this unmanaged package along with MapAnything in our sandbox after migrating the data to Maps and it didn't appear to break anything, but I'm wondering if anyone has any context for this unmanaged package?

Hello Community!! Has anyone found a sure-fire way to get around trying to install an unmanaged package say for a super badge for example? I'm not citing a specific example because I have encountered this every single time I have tried. (trying not to get overly frustrated) :)

Any thoughts welcome! Thanks for your time!
