What’s a dashboard component? It’s a new widget type that can contain other widgets and pages. Using component’s will help you build reusable elements that will be available in any of your dashboards. This will make the authoring experience a breeze both on the building and on the maintenance side. 

What else? Dashboard components will have their own pages meaning that you will be able to create those localized interactions and drill in explorations within components saving your dashboard pages! 

Be on the lookout as this is going to open up a lot of dashboard authoring possibilities and it’s already started with the LWC pilot! This is just the start of components and we can’t wait to see how creative our users get.

I have seen on Internet that "Re-usable Dashboard Components" feature is coming in the WINTER 21 release , but till today I am not able to see that new feature in the UAT org.

Did anyone get that feature yet ?

I am looking to create a dashboard that have four columns, one for each US timezone, with an associated clock for that timezone's current time.  Under each clock would be a list of calls to contacts within that timezone with a suggested time (or range) to call that particular contact.  (I have some custom fields to support - in contacts - timezone and when to call as well as opportunities field - next pursuit update and/or task activity = to anything less than or equal to today.  

Can the clock component be incorporated as outlined?

Build a Lightning Experience Dashboard

Hi all, 

Looking for any suggestions on ways to modify certain elements of the report and dashboard components for a customer community. I think these are fine for a partner community but for a customer community they expose information or verbiage that isn't desired. For example, we'd like to rename a report chart title to be customer-friendly instead of "Sum of [Field Name]", remove the key so grouping is not exposed, and remove the refreshed date. I haven't been able to accomplish this with CSS due to the nature of the report/dashboard component. Is there a way to build either a custom report component where we can modify these things or modify CSS to prevent them from displaying? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Affichage en unités sur Salesforce pour iOs

J'ai lu et vu que depuis la release Summer 18 il est possible d'afficher des chiffres dans les tableaux de bord sans que ceux-ci soit arrondis automatiquement en milliers. J'ai trouvé cette fonctionnalité dans classique et lightning et tout s'affiche correctement sur ordinateur mais pas iPhone où les tableaux de bord n'affichent que des chiffres en milliers ou millions (ex: 1150 --> 1.1K).

Cette fonctionnalité est-elle absente à ce jour de Salesforce pour iOs ?

Y-a-t-il un paramétrage particulier a effectuer ?

Anyone else having issues with Lightning Tables not holding their sort settings? I have a dashboard with several lighting tables. For instance, two tables show top and bottom accounts. These are run off of the same report, but sorted differently (one Sales descending and one Sales ascending). Randomly, when I look the dashboard, the sort will be reset to Account name or some other column. Doesn't happen all of the time, just randomly. Extremely frustrating.
