Working in Tableau Desktop 2025.1.13, I am running into an issue with PDF export. I'd like the Total row to have a light yellow cell fill, as shown in the Desktop table shown below (with data redacted for this post). However, when I export the view to PDF, the yellow fill does not stay only on the cells with the measure names in the total row, i.e., Total Awards ($), % Change, and Total Awards (see second picture). This occurs with each of the following PDF export options: File -> Print to PDF; File -> Print ->  Adobe PDF; File -> Print -> Microsoft Print to PDF. Does anyone have a solution for this?

Hi,  I'm trying to put together a Tableau Dashboard view. I have the following set-up in Tableau 

: Category 

: Position 

: Employee Name. 

I'm struggling with the format. I want the Name in each cell of the Table to be centered and on separate lines. See image provided below of the Current Format versus my Desired Format. I tried to manually size the width to force Word Wrapping, but depending on the filters, the number of Positions listed can vary and all categories may or may not be present depending on the data itself.   

How do I set this up?    

1, Unable to add tooltips to sheets that were created as buttons for navigating between different tabs. As a workaround, an Info button

can be added to display the description of each tab.

Is there any option to display the Prior Period in white font color? If this option is available, could someone please help me understand how to implement it?

I am having an issue with my dashboard that uses a parameter action to create a hierarchical drill-down in my Region worksheet

My setup:

• My Region worksheet uses a parameter + calculated field to create a drill-down hierarchy.
• Other worksheets in the dashboard are being used as filters that impact the Region worksheet.
• The drill-down works correctly when interacting only with the Region worksheet.
• However, when I apply a filter from another worksheet, the Region worksheet resets back to the top level.

The issue:

1. I drill down in the Region worksheet (for example: Region → State).
2. I select a value from another worksheet that is being used as a filter.
3. The Region worksheet refreshes, and the drill-down collapses back to the top level.
4. The filters that were applied are also reset.

My goal is to keep the filter applied while maintaining the current drill-down level, so that I can continue drilling down and selecting states within the Region worksheet. 

Is there a way to fix this so that the selecting the drilldown doesn't reset my filters?
