True North Dreamin

True North Dreamin is a community led event for Salesforce professionals, and for those who are interested in learning more about Salesforce. TND is a two day event with multiple tracks of content, keynote speakers, networking, and an awesome Canadian time that you will not want to miss! TND is organized, run and delivered by people from within the Salesforce community. This is a not-for-profit event that we can only bring to you because of the generosity of our sponsors. The purpose is to bring us all together and to give everyone access to the best content available to help educate and provide value for everyone. It will be held in Toronto, Ontario on May 11-12, 2026 at the Toronto Airport Marriott Hotel.

It’s been a little quiet here since True North Dreamin’ 2026 wrapped up in May, but planning for TND27 is well underway!

🇨🇦

A few updates in case you missed them:

📅 Save the Date: True North Dreamin’ returns to Toronto on April 6–7, 2027.

🏨 We’ll be back at the Toronto Airport Marriott, building on what worked well for us this year while continuing to make improvements based on the feedback we received. The hotel room block is open if you want to get your room now.

🤝 Sponsorship opportunities are now open

, with an updated prospectus, new options and some added flexibility for sponsors.

And there is plenty more still to come — including speakers, tickets, community involvement and all the pieces that make True North Dreamin’ what it is.

Thanks again to everyone who joined us in 2026, shared feedback, volunteered, spoke, sponsored or helped spread the word. We’re looking forward to doing it all again in 2027!

On Tuesday, May 26th (12:00 PM EDT), our Code With Sally community is hosting Saman Attar for a hands-on session: Intro to React Components for Salesforce Developers

Salesforce Multi-Framework is in open beta, which means React is now a native way to build on the platform.

New to React? No problem — Saman is walking us through building a real app from scratch: components, state, props, npm libraries, Vite, and deploying the new UI Bundle metadata type into a Salesforce org.

There'll be a live Q&A, so bring your questions — that's usually the best part. 🙌

👉 Join live on Zoom:

Hope to see you there!

LAST CALL to Help Shape TND 2027

We’re still looking for feedback on where TND27 should take place within the GTA/Golden Horseshoe area and we’d love your input!

If you haven’t filled out the location survey yet, there’s still time. But don't wait too long. The Survey closes May 31st.

Survey Link

One question we’re getting asked a lot:

“Why is True North Dreamin' staying in the GTA again next year?”

The short answer: sustainability and growth.

As a fully volunteer-run event, it’s difficult to finish one conference and immediately pivot to planning in a completely different part of a country, especially one as large as Canada. Staying within the GTA/Golden Horseshoe area for another year helps us:

💙 Build a stronger financial foundation for the future

💙 Reduce operational stress while we improve and grow the event

💙 Begin planning TND28 earlier and more strategically

💙 Build stronger local volunteer and organizational support (wherever we plan to go next)

💙 Create a more sustainable long-term path for expanding to other regions in future years

We absolutely want TND to continue growing across Canada over time. This is simply the most realistic and responsible next step as we continue to build the event.

Thanks for all your feedback, ideas, and support so far! 🇨🇦

A Successful Two Days at True North Dreamin' 2026!

True North Dreamin’ 2026 has wrapped, and I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you to this amazing community 💙

Over the two days, we saw exactly what makes the Salesforce ecosystem so special—people sharing knowledge, learning from each other, and making new connections.

From practical, real-world sessions to the conversations happening in between, the energy throughout the event was something special.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended, spoke, volunteered, and supported TND26. This event is 100% community-driven, and it really shows in the way people show up for each other.

Even though the event is over, the conversations don’t stop here. I hope you’ll continue to stay connected, share what you’ve learned, and keep building on the relationships you started.

Help Shape TND 2027

We’re already starting to think about next year (yes, already), and one of the biggest decisions is location.

If you’re in the Golden Horseshoe/GTA area—or planning to attend again—we’d really appreciate your input.

Go to: Location Survey

If you were there, what stood out to you? Favourite session, moment, or takeaway? Was there a speaker that made you think, "I could do this too"? Share it here to inspire others.

And if you missed it, hopefully we’ll see you next time 😊

and we love to connect with fellow Trailblazers in person.

If you’re planning to attend (or still deciding), I’d definitely recommend it. True North Dreamin’ is Canada’s premier community-led Salesforce conference, bringing together Trailblazers for two days of sessions, networking, and idea sharing.  And Toronto is a great city to experience it in.

More info / registration:

https://www.truenorthdreamin.com/

My colleague Rajesh Unadkat (Founder & CEO, SurveyVista) will also be speaking on

May 12 at 1:30 PM on “How to Build Automated Customer Journeys That Scale”

— sharing how Salesforce-native teams turn customer signals into real-time automated actions.

If you’re around during the event, feel free to come say hello — would be great to connect with fellow Trailblazers in person.

Hope to see some of you in Toronto!

📝 True North Dreamin’ 2026 is Just 9 Days Away 🇨🇦

We’re officially into the final stretch for True North Dreamin’ 2026 — just 9 days out.

***A quick note for speakers and sponsors: there are a few upcoming deadlines on

May 3, so please make sure you’ve reviewed your email updates and have everything you need in place.

At this point, most of the event is set — sessions, speakers, sponsors, and the many little details that make it all come together.

Speaker profiles are live, the session list is full, the agenda is live, and it’s much easier now to see what the two days will look like.

We’ve also been sending important updates to attendees, speakers, and sponsors over the past couple of weeks. If you’re planning to join us in Toronto and haven’t seen those, please check your inbox (and spam folder), or let us know so we can resend.

Things are starting to move very quickly.

Sponsors are preparing, speakers are finalizing details, and attendees are sorting travel, hotels, and schedules. It’s no longer “next month”. It’s right around the corner.

Ticket sales close

May 7, so make that decision now.

True North Dreamin’ 2026 is Two Weeks Out! 🇨🇦

We’re officially two weeks out from True North Dreamin’ 2026, and at this point, most of the event is set — sessions, speakers, sponsors, and the many little details that make it all come together.

Speaker profiles are live, the session list is full, and the shape of the event is much easier to see now than it was a month ago.

We’ve also been sending important updates to attendees, speakers, and sponsors over the past few days, so if you’re planning to join us in Toronto, make sure to check your inbox (and spam folder) so nothing gets missed. Don't forget to let us know if you didn't receive your email.

At this point, things start moving quickly.

Sponsors are preparing, speakers are finalizing details, and attendees are figuring out travel, hotels, and schedules.  It is no longer “sometime in May” but just around the corner.

If you’ve been on the fence, ticket sales close next week (May 7th), so now is a good time to make that decision.

Looking forward to seeing so many familiar (and new) faces in Toronto 🇨🇦

.

Find the link to book your reservations at

https://www.truenorthdreamin.com/accomodations-2026

📝 We also shared a new blog post this week.

A look at what a typical day at True North Dreamin’ can feel like — from sessions and keynotes to the conversations in between. If you’re still deciding or just starting to plan, it’s a helpful way to picture how your time might unfold.

https://www.truenorthdreamin.com/news/2026/3/23/a-day-at-true-north-dreamin

If TND has been on your radar, this is a good time to start locking in plans.

And for those considering sponsorship — please note that inclusion in certain printed and on-site materials (such as t-shirts, lanyards, and signage) depends on upcoming production timelines, so we may have to offer alternate benefits for sponsorships received after April 5th.

More to come next week as we head into April.

Hi TND community! ✈️💙

I’m heading to Toronto for the event and just wanted to check: does anyone know what time things kick off on May 11 and wrap up on May 12? I’m trying to book my flights and want to make sure I get the timing right.

Really appreciate any info you can share! 😄

Hi True North Trailblazers 👋

Over the past few weeks we’ve been sharing the speakers who will be joining us at

True North Dreamin’ 2026 in Toronto this May.

It’s been fun seeing the range of topics coming together — from architecture and admin workflows to AI, adoption, and career growth.

The overall agenda is starting to take shape, and it’s exciting to imagine the conversations that will happen once everyone is in the same room.

So a quick question for the community:

When you attend a conference like TND, what kind of sessions do you usually gravitate toward?

• Deep technical dives

 • Practical admin tips

 • Architecture strategy

 • Career / ecosystem conversations

 • Something completely unexpected

No pressure to pick just one — just curious what people tend to enjoy most.
