Mia Givelber (Deloitte) ha fatto una domanda in #BeeFee

Hello!

My organization sends out a weekly newsletter. The standard text email is not enough for us. In our old system, we had a way to build more complex looking newsletters. The only free application I could find is call BeeFree, which hasn't been reviewed by salesforce. Has anyone used BeeFree and have an opinion on it? Also, does anyone know of any other newsletter builders that could help?

Thanks,

Gabe Givelber

Our team uses BeeFree and drops the HTML into Salesforce Classic email and it works well. The only thing I don't like for emails that need edits or annual review is the potential for "two sources of truth" - have to decide where to make minor edits or how to keep both BeeFree and the email template in Salesforce accurate if you want to re-use.

I'm curious how it plays with NPSP. It's pretty new, and wondering if anyone has tried it yet. Thanks! @Nonprofit Hub

Hello,

One of our clients is using the Fundraise Up integration with Salesforce. Recently, instead of creating a new Contact and corresponding Household Account, only one was created and inserted into an existing Household Account. Interestingly, the current account had a Contact with the same last name. We've confirmed that there are no Duplicate/Matching rules in Salesforce that would cause this (Fundraise Up says they use Salesforce's rules for matching). Has anyone experienced a similar issue? What could be the reason for this? Thank you!

Best,

Josef

Has anyone tried using the Candid/Guidestar API to integrate organizational demographic data into their database? Here's the announcement with context: https://candid.org/about/press-room/releases/candid-s-free-demographics-api-enables-funders-to-make-informed-impactful-giving-decisions

Has anyone connected to Uber Health yet?  I'm looking to get a log of past rides into Salesforce but their API documentation doesn't really steer that direction.

Thanks,

My organization would like to create an online form - which would live on our Wordpress website - so that someone can subscribe to our newsletter. We don't use the Lead object, so I don't think we can use Salesforce's Web-to-Lead feature.

I imagine the form would work in this way: 1) person provides their name, email address, title and organization. 2) Salesforce creates a Contact record for them and adds them to our newsletter list (via a picklist field that lives on the Contact record). I understand we'd have to manually check new subscribers to make sure they aren't duplicate Contacts in our system.

Does anyone know of a free form builder tool that we could use to do this? We unfortunately don't have the budget to pay for a new tool. We have Conga but I don't think it has this functionality.

Thanks in advance for any advice!

Marie

@Marie Akerman I'm familiar with the Beaufort12 integration and Campaign Monitor. The Campaign Monitor for Salesforce (CM4SF) integration actually can create Contact records.

On the page you linked to, see the last line:

"You can also use field mappings combined with the create records feature to create new contacts or leads."

The "create record" hyperlink within that line has instructions on how to create Contacts through the CM4SF integration. Comb through the instructions and feel free to reach out if you need further assistance.

I am looking for a Peer-to-Peer Fundraising platform that integrates well with Salesforce. This question was asked back in 2019, and I'm hoping the community has grown enough to get more answers. Thank you!

@Rachel Spinner every country has different fundraising platform providers.  It's sad but true, mostly because different countries have different regulations that govern non-profits.  It would help if you posted here which country you're in.

Has anyone used Volunteers for Salesforce? I have a client that has multiple integration users. The issue is that each of these integration users are taking up a license and would like to consolidate all products into one integration user. Is Volunteers for Salesforce one of them that needs to have the integration user changed?
