#Pardot Form0 debatiendo

We are running into a situation where certain prospects captured with Pardot forms are not syncing over to Salesforce because of a data mismatch. The problem is usually because what they enter in the phone number field doesn't match with the format for that field in Salesforce (ex: they include their extension with "ext."). Since Pardot requires the data format for a phone number to be "text" in order for someone to enter "123-456-7890", that leaves that field open to have anything input.

Hello! Because the GoToWebinar connector doesn't sync company name if prospects register for a webinar via the GoToWebinar form, we would like to use a Pardot form. Is it possible to link directly to the form in an invitation email or does the form need to be on landing page or webpage? Basically, can we link the form URL or is that a bad idea?

    Hi,

    I have created a native salesforce capability to create registration on gotowebinar when a lead on salesforce is created. It triggers an automation to create a registration on gotowebinar platform for the chosen webinar. Also has the functionality of bringing the attendance/registrations back to salesforce. Checkout my blogpost for more informaiton.

    Let me know if need help implementing any of the mentioned functionality. I can share my components.

    Thanks,

    Avi

Hi there!  I want to implement a Pardot Form Handler with Elementor. Do you have a solution. So far I only found solutions that can handle normal forms. Thanks for your feedback.

We have many Wordpress pages that have the same Pardot "contact sales" form, and we want to see which webpages are creating the best conversion. Also, sales wants to know exactly what someone is looking at on a page when they fill out the form.

Any suggestions?

We have "gated" our Pardot forms on our website to exclude submissions from people who use ISPs or free email providers (i.e., gmail, yahoo, etc.).  However, Outlook email address don't seem to be included, because we are getting submissions from people who use ".outlook.com" email addresses. Is Outlook exempted (not blocked) from the gated Pardot forms?

Hi,

I'm trying to figure out why the email field on the Email Preference Center Page is locked and not auto populating a cookied user's email address. We have applied a custom template to the page to modify the look and feel, could that be causing an issue? I have a screenshot below for reference. Any help would be appreciated to figure out why the email box is locked and why it's not auto-populating. Thanks!

My company is starting to include "Industry" as a required field on a landing page form. Is there a way to create a drop-down option with pre-determined values? We use Zoom for live webinar registration, however we use a Pardot landing page/form for our on-demand webinar registration. We would like to mirror the Industry drop-down options that Zoom uses on the on-demand form. Does Pardot have a list of existing industries I could include on the form or do I need to copy each Zoom industry into the Pardot form? From what I can tell, it looks like the user would need to type in their industry rather than select from a list.

    Yes, you could do it 2 ways. You could edit the picklist values on a default prospect field, or you could make a new custom prospect field and set picklist values. If you are an admin, you have access to both of these options in the admin menu in pardot. Here's an article from Pardot on this topic: https://www.pardot.com/blog/custom-fields/

Hi everyone,

In Salesforce Contacts, Accounts, and Leads, there is an address search field that filters for actual addresses as the address is typed.  It really helps with making sure the address is correct.  Is there a way to add this field to a Pardot form?

Thanks!

I have used the Pardot form handler in my page and used success URL as referring URL. But when the form is submitted the URL is changed to base address.

Example: if the form is at x.com/y/z on form submissions the URL is changed to x.com.

Shouldn't the URL remain the same and, if not, is there any way to make it?

Hey, I'm trying to see where I can find how hidden fields on forms are linked to the html of that displays on our web page? I've seen this:

<script type="text/javascript">

// Parse the URL

function getParameterByName(name) {

    name = name.replace(/[\[]/, "\\[").replace(/[\]]/, "\\]");

    var regex = new RegExp("[\\?&]" + name + "=([^&#]*)"),

    results = regex.exec(location.search);

    return results === null ? "" : decodeURIComponent(results[1].replace(/\+/g, " "));

}

// Give the URL parameters variable names

var source = getParameterByName('utm_source');

var medium = getParameterByName('utm_medium');

var campaign = getParameterByName('utm_campaign');

// Put the variable names into the hidden fields in the form. selector should be "p.YOURFIELDNAME input"

document.querySelector("p.last_touch_source input").value = source;

document.querySelector("p.last_touch_medium input").value = medium;

document.querySelector("p.last_touch_campaign input").value = campaign;

</script>

But I want to know how to actually find this in pardot, and where this would be added when building new forms/landing pages
