Opportunity & Contact View

Hi Everyone,

 

I have to restrict access for user so that he can only view his own Opp's & Contacts.

 

OWD settings for these objects are Public Read only & Controlled by parent respectively. Without changing the OWD settings is it possible to achieve this?

    Hi @Teja B, 

     

    OWDs are the baseline level of access - you cannot restrict record access beyond the access level granted by OWDs. You may need a Private sharing model in order to accomplish this, which will likely necessitate other updates and sharing rules to allow your others users to continue to use the system the way they currently do.

Unable to access Important Opportunities & My Pipeline list views

Hi Team,

 

I granted the permission set to access the inspect pipeline, but he is unable to switch to My Pipeline or Important Opportunities views. How can I resolve this?.

    @Eric Burté Yes I have assigned the permission set, and the reps can access custom views in pipeline inspection section.

One of my team members needs to have a dynamic pipeline report for YTD closed won opportunities....how can we do this so he is continually seeing the most current data in the pipeline dashboard?

I have created extra stages in the Opportunity pipeline but they are not showing up?

    Hi @Karyn Redford

    are you using the default lightning experience setup? And are you on Professional Edition or above? If so, you'll need to try:

    Setup (click the big setup cog) > Object Manager tab > Opportunity > Record Types

    Within the Opportunities record types, you should be able to update your sales stage to include any new stages you added
