Discount Tiers applied inconsistently on Amendments

We use Discount Schedules to achieve volume discounts at certain quantities of our product. When we amend a contract with subscriptions that were sold originally with a discount tier applied, we noticed that if you change the quantity on that amended line, the discount tier doesn't continue to apply (unless the added quantity meets the discount tier boundaries on its own). If we add a net new quote line, the discount tier does apply based on the entire quantity, not just the added quantity. Essentially, adding quantity to the amended quote line does not honor the price of the existing subscription, as I believe it should based on the documentation I've seen. We ideally want the amended lines to lock the price and all related discounts so a sales rep just needs to modify the quantity and know that the pricing will match what the customer originally paid. Has anyone else encountered this and have any tips or tricks on how to work around this? (screenshot attached for example illustration) Thanks!

I have set up a slab discount schedule that seems to be working correctly. I will be using this schedule for about 10 different products (all within the same product family). However, I want to set a minimum price per SKU that the SKU would not be sold below. For example, for this particular product, we would not want it sold below $1000 per license(for all the SKUs in the product family). So not the total for the quote line itself but once the discount schedule reaches $250 per 1 quantity, it cuts off at that point and will not go below that (hopefully this makes sense). Is there a way to set a limit for this within a discount schedule? Or is there something I should be using in addition to a discount schedule to accomplish this?

Hi Help with the renewal quote discount schedule. 

quote A is the original quote. it has SKU with no discount schedule

Created a Term Discount Schedule for the SKU and renewal quoted on the contract. 

quote B is the renewal quote. it has SKU with  no discount schedule. 

Is this an expected behavior? Is there a fix that's recommended?

Can someone explain the Sandbox_ID__C to me? This is from an export from CPQ of the Discount Schedule tiers. Where does this ID come from or should I say which page?

I'm working on the CPQ trailhead of the Discount Schedule. As we known, there is a field "Override behavior" on discount schedule. 2 things have done before editing the quote lines.

1. Update "Override behavior" to All on Discount Schedule
2. Input Discount Schedule to the product RFID Key Card

When I added the product to the quote, and hovered on the discount schedule icon, it didn't allow me to change the discount tier.(screenshot attached)

May I know if there is other thing I need to config??

We have a discount schedule that applies to a specific group of Products for Accounts that are Supply Houses.

Looking at the documentation, it seems like the only way to accomplish this is by having a Pricebook just for Supply Houses and restricting the discount to that. 

I'd really like to avoid creating another pricebook and, ideally, would like the discount to be applied automatically to quotes where the Account's type is Supply House (on the Quote, the Distributor field is automatically populated with the Account).

Is there any way to do this without creating another pricebook?

Does anyone know if you can base a discount schedule on a text value?  The situation is for product A there is a configuration attributable with 5 options that are text values.  We want the price to change based on the value of the configuration attribute.  I looked into using "Quote Line Quantity Field" on the discount schedule but it only works for number values.  I also thought about using price rules but wanted to avoid creating a price rule for each value of the configuration attributable.  Any guidance would be appreciated.

Did anyone experience Issues with 220.8?  They pushed ours over the weekend and now we cannot use the system the way we did on Friday. We have a custom Discount Schedule and it no longer works.  I have submitted a suport ticket and notified my CPQ Rep. Any other suggestions for a quick solution? We are 2 weeks from the end of our Quarter, so quoting is very important right now.  Thank you everyone!
