Creating Multiple Records from Screen Input in Flow

Hi everyone- head-scratcher here that I didn't find much about online.  Wondering if this is so basic that no one asks, or unusual, or solved in some other way than I"m proposing?

I am trying to figure out how exactly to create multiple records (up to the user how many, though usually 10 of less), based on data users enter.  They don't need to stop to match records, and they only need to enter one value to create each record.  It would be launched via quick action from one record, and the Flow would match values to an existing object, and create one record in a junction object for every number entered.

I have a feeling it could be done using Fast Create, but I could use a model to understand the structure. I did find this one post from 2014, but was wondering if there is some newer functionality.  https://salesforce.stackexchange.com/questions/48554/multiple-child-record-creation-in-flow

Also wondering if there is a way I could just have users enter all numbers into one field (comma separated for example), and have the Flow automatically use that data to create one junction record for every number.

Discussion - Relating Tasks to multiple Accounts

Background: When we log a call, a completed Activity gets created, we also create follow up tasks if the call logged resulted in 'missed call' or 'contact not available'.

Challenge: There are situations where the logged call involves two Accounts. Currently in salesforce we can relate more than one contact to an Activity (even if these contacts are related to different Accounts) , however we cannot relate an activity to more than one Account.

I am sure this is common Use Case, and I am curious to know how other organizations get around this challenge.

Calling all Pardot connected campaign experts!

We're having a recurring issue with our campaign responses and web tracking. We're noticing that a batch of prospects is getting incorrectly associated with a campaign with the status "connected" after viewing the piece of content on a web page.

For example, one record clicked on an eBook landing page with a form (but did not fill out the form) and is now in that campaign w/ the "connected" status. Prospects only get added to this campaign when they fill out the form so we have no idea how these members are getting added.

Another interesting part of this issue is that the above prospect DID fill out our request a demo page right after viewing the eBook landing page and was correctly associated with the request a demo campaign.

This is happening with multiple records and we can't seem to figure out why the prospect is getting associated with eBook campaign when they aren't actually having campaign success.

Has anyone else had an issue like this? Any help is appreciated!

@Olivia Dassler - this is happening because you have "Campaign Member Sync" enabled, which will look at a Prospect's "Source Campaign" in Pardot and create a campaign member in the corresponding SFDC Campaign with a status of Connected. Keep in mind that every Prospect must have exactly one Source Campaign, which is populated based on the Prospect's entry point into Pardot. So, in this case, your Form views are being recorded as anonymous web activity, and if that visitor then converts at a later point, Pardot will merge the visitor record with the newly created Prospect record and the Source Campaign will be set based on that person's very first touch with anything that contained Pardot Tracking Code.

Hello - just creating my first Flow that creates multiple records and I'm stuck! When selected "How many records to create" as Multiple, there isn't an option to say what type of records to create - how do I say I want to create cases?

Thanks

We have a custom lightning component where a user would choose one of 5 objects. Then there is a search box where the user searches for the records and can add multiple records. while displaying multiple records from search result we are using lightning recordview control because we want to show compact layout on the search. results are retrieved. we can able to save form but getting below warning message.

This page has an error. You might just need to refresh it. [PromiseRejection: [Assert Violation: [object:vm undefined (505)] must be inserted.]]. This seems to be known issue if there is a huge data across the object

Hi All,

Is it possible to link multiple records of a custom object in a custom object?

For example, there's an object called "Status Report" and I have linked it to a custom object called ""Projects". The issue now is if I wanna create the same report for other "Project" record, it's a manual process. So I wanna link multiple project record to "Status Report". I have heard about Junction objects. Can someone give me some idea to proceed on this?

Bulk Uploading Account Relationships,

Aside from using the Data Import Wizard to designate Parent/Child relationships, is there a way to quickly change or update account relationships across multiple records at once?
