Validator Message: Found the recommender ..but no viewReco activity.

In using the Recommendation Validator I'm seeing these messages on pages where recommendation lists are shown.

I do however see the products in the recommendations tab. According to Common Recommendation Validator Errors section in the documentation there should be a <isobject object="${product}" view="recommendation">

tag wrapping them which I have. Any insight to what might be causing this? Thanks.

    I am using pagedesigner component thats why I can't wrap it into isobject tag but I have this error , not firing viewReco . any idea how to set up objects context for pagedesigner properly?

Is there a way to collect recommendation report stats when Einstein is set up in the Page Designer component? Right now it just seems to report on recommenders set up in content slots.

Hi All, I have query in Einstein recommendations like the einsteinUtils.getRecs is displaying correctly without errors in sandbox but in Dev instance it is showing up an error like einsteinUtils.getRecs is not a function.

Adding attachments for reference. Can someone help me on this?

PRODUCT DO NOT SHOW ON THE HOME PAGE

Hello, I'm new to the Einstein Recommender, I added my new Einstein Carousel (viewed-recently) on the homepage, the carousel is here but no products are displayed, even if the recommendation validator recommend many products, when I navigate a product and go back to the home page the products are now displayed.

 

My question is why the products are not displayed even if they are available when I visit the storefront for the first time.

 

any information could be helpful, thanks in advance.

We just started receiving images to our trending chart on our app in http vs https via microservice calls so images are not loading for iOS since they will not allow this. This just started happening

Here's some APIs we call (purposely hiding personal site info)

Most/all API responses include a "uuid" value and the docs say to use the uuid for future requests. None of the requests show any examples or information about how to return the uuid value. Is it just sent back as "uuid" for all requests?

    Hi @Eric Selk​, the uuid value will be the same as the cookieId parameter that you send in the request. If cookieId is omitted, the uuid will be automatically generated. In any case, that value should be used in subsequent requests, but you probably don't actually need to get it from the response body.

Please add documentation for finishCheckout event.

We are trying to upgrade code that is using the old "built in" CQuotient API objects in our SFCC Storefront (ISML and isobject tags), and that code fires a finishCheckout event, so we need to know how to fire this event with the new v3 API so that this will still work when we delete the old code.

    Hi @Eric Selk​, we don't currently support the finishCheckout activity in the v3 API. That activity is automatically tracked by the OCAPI/Mercury order process so it doesn't need to be implemented by our customers.

Empty recommandations when using the "complete-the-set" recommander

Hello!

We're currently using the GetZoneRecommandations.

And the "complete-the-set" recommender is set to our zone.

When I have a look on the "Review Sets" tab of the recommender, I can correctly see different sets.

However, when I do a test with a post, I get no recommandations.

Here's the body posted:

    If that product is not working for you, maybe something in the request is incorrect. Here is a curl that works for your zone:

    Yes, you can send a variation group product as the anchor, instead. Use the `altId` and `altIdType` body parameters in the product object.

Does anybody know where i need to look to find out how many products are getting returned in an Einstein recommendation zone. Ive gotten a request to try to hide a recommendation zone if it returns too few products

    Hi @Shawn Woodall​, the Zone Recommendation response contains an array called `recs`. You can check the length of that array when deciding whether or not to show the recommendation zone. Check the API Specification for the endpoint here. Does that help?
