Hi all, I am setting up 'Email to SMS' action on the Contact object, this requires emails to a String Value. Here in the notes it says 'If you use a string field, the email isn’t logged on the recipient’s record.' (last line on page: https://help.salesforce.com/articleView?id=sf.predefined_field_values_notes.htm&type=5 ) I have tried different predefined values:  Recipient - adds a surplus email address to the To field.

RelatedTo: produces an error when I try to specify Contact.ContactId WhoTo: did nothing.

I am thinking of whether I could use Process Builder, to create a tasks to record the action, however not sure how to triger this.  However of course I want to have a record of all communication sent. Does anyone have any great ideas on how I can achieve this (using lightning).  #Salesforce Admin #Quick Actions

When I try to specify a value for the RelatedTo field this is the error I get:

Error: Formula result is data type (Lookup(Contact)), incompatible with expected data type (Lookup(Account,Assessment,Asset,Asset Relationship,Campaign,Case Contact,Communication Subscription Consent,Contact Request,Contract,Deliverable,DEPRECATED-Fund,Engagement Plan,Engagement Plan Template,External Managed Account,General Accounting Unit,Household,Image,Location,Meeting,Meeting Attendee,Opportunity,Order,Party Consent,Process Exception,Product,Recurring Donation,Solution,Survey Question,Volunteer Hours,Volunteer Job,Volunteer Shift)).
