foundationConnect User Group

This group is for users of foundationConnect to share ideas about how to use the product in unique and innovative ways. It is also a place where you can ask questions to other users, and answer questions from other users.

We were counting on APSONA to generate an complete application by combining a word template with PDFs uploaded by our applicants and ran into a snag: we can specific the order in which the attachments are collated.  This enhancement would fix the problem. We can be the only grantmaker with a usecase that corresponds to this need!  https://roadmap.apsona.com/p/configure-explicit-attachment-order-when-appending-files-in--zJAoFW

Hi friends! Hope everyone's migrations are going well!

We found something interesting in our migration - Grantmaking doesn't use the Affiliations object that foundationConnect has.

We use this object frequently for two reasons: 1) people in our industry (animal welfare) move around a lot and it's nice to see that history; and 2) sometimes folks have affiliations with multiple organizations at the same time (work for one organization and on the Board of another).

I just created a new post in the Idea Exchange for the NPC and Grantmaking developers to consider adding an Affiliation object. Please upvote and comment on it if it would be beneficial to you.

Thanks!

Hi friends!

As we're working on our migration from fC to Grantmaking, the folks at Sputnik are recommending we move from using Request Record Types to Dynamic Page Layouts. In theory it sounds good, but to be honest, I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around how it works. I'm working on the Trailhead about it, but I'm wondering if there's anyone here who's currently using it and wouldn't mind Zooming with me and showing me in "real time" how it works?

Thanks so much!

Kelly

hi all! I've implemented dynamic forms for a few clients and personally love it :) Provides a lot of flexibility to only show what is actually important at that particular stage or for that particular grant program (fields, tabs, buttons, related lists, flows, etc.) Also, in the long run, it reduces the burden on the admin having to manage a bunch of different page layouts. While it takes some time to plan out the different visibility criteria and test, I've found it extremely helpful!

Happy to show folks around if there is interest!

We are experiencing a 1-2 minute lag, then get the error message "Error:

IO Exception: Unable to tunnel through proxy. Proxy returns "HTTP/1.1 503 Service Unavailable" - is anyone else seeing this?

  • Live Demo of the Grantmaking Solution so you can see firsthand how our intuitive platform streamlines your workflows, automates tasks, and provides actionable data for informed, data-driven decision-making.
  • Question and Answer Session: We value your input and feedback

This launch event is a unique opportunity to discover how Salesforce Grantmaking can elevate your grantmaking capabilities and drive positive impact in the communities you serve.
