Playground credentials unsuccessful

Hello, 

I'm trying to login to my playground frolm VS Code.  

 

When I login, I land on my main org and not to my playground where the challanges are verified.  

 

I tried to login with my playground credentials but I don't have the password and I can't change it.

    Hi Ediz, you don’t need to use a separate Playground password to connect it to VS Code. The easiest approach is to authorize the specific Playground directly from VS Code using Salesforce CLI.

    In VS Code, use Command Palette → SFDX: Authorize an Org, choose the appropriate login URL, and complete the Salesforce login. Make sure you select the Playground/org you want to work with, rather than your main Salesforce org.

    If you’re being redirected to your main org, please check that you’re signing in with the Salesforce credentials associated with the Playground. You can also retrieve the Playground username from Trailhead → your profile → Hands-On Orgs → Playground → Username.

    If you still can’t authorize the Playground, please share the exact error message from VS Code and the Salesforce CLI version you’re using.

Data Security > Control Access to Objects challenge: Recruiting objects (Position, Candidate, Job Application, Review) missing

Hello Everyone,

I'm working on the Data Security > Control Access to Objects module and trying to complete the hands-on challenge.

The challenge requires creating a Manage Positions permission set and assigning permissions to the Position object. However, I can't find the Recruiting sample objects in any of my Trailhead Playgrounds.

I checked:

  • Setup → Object Manager
  • Permission Sets → Object Settings
  • App Launcher
  • Installed Packages

The following objects are missing:

  • Position
  • Candidate
  • Job Application
  • Review

Standard objects such as Account, Contact, and Case are available, but the Recruiting objects referenced throughout the module do not exist.

I have tried:

  1. Using my existing Salesforce Playground.
  2. Creating a brand-new Trailhead Playground.
  3. Verifying that I'm using the correct hands-on org.

Because the Position object is missing, I'm unable to create the Manage Positions permission set required for the challenge.

Has anyone encountered this issue recently? Is there a package that needs to be installed, or are there updated instructions for completing this challenge?

Error creating playground for Marketing Cloud Next Email Sending Essentials badge

Hi Trailblazer Community, 

 

I'm trying to start the badge Marketing Cloud Next Email Sending Essentials under the Data 360: Develop and Build Solutions trail, but I'm unable to create the required playground org.

Whenever I click on Create Playground, I get the following error message:

Error creating playground for Marketing Cloud Next Email Sending Essentials badge

 

 

I tried refreshing and waiting, but the issue persists. Has anyone else encountered this problem or found a fix?

    I opened a case and received the following response. I think the only option is to wait until the matter is resolved. 

     

    Please be informed that the team is working internally to add more capacity to spin up the orgs related to orgfarm orgs related to the Trailhead.

Recruiting app is missing after installing the project package

I'm working on the Trailhead project "Build a Data Model for a Recruiting App." 

 

I completed the package installation successfully, but I can't continue because the Recruiting app is not available. 

 

I've checked: 

- App Launcher 

- App Manager 

- Installed Packages 

 

The package appears to be installed, but there is no Recruiting app, Candidate object, or other Recruiting components required by the project. 

 

Has anyone experienced this? Is there an additional step required after installing the package, or is the package missing components? 

 

Any help would be appreciated.

Unable to use the latest connected org

I have two connected orgs and I want to use the latest one for checking the challenge (the old one is created in 2024 and I was not able to launch it). But I just can't delete the old one or choose the new one

Getting this for the question " What is the next available Magical Aquarium Tunnel Tour session for 5 people?" 

It seems there are no available sessions for the Magical Aquarium Tunnel Tour that can accommodate 5 people. Let me know if you'd like me to check for a different number of people or a different experience. 

Can someone help ?

    Hi, it is possible that org is expired. Scroll down on the page under the Expired Org section.

Are the Trailhead training tutorials using Lightning Design System 2 or 1?

I'm a UX/UI designer trying to create resources in Figma for those who are using the Lightning App Builder to create key screens. Are the Trailhead tutorials showing Salesforce Lightning Design System 2?

Order Management Console in Playground

Dear Trailbrazers, 

 

I need to work on the Order Management for a project. Unfortunately I do not find an acces to the Order Management Console in my Playground. Is the access limeted to a license?

    If you're using a standard Playground, the Order Management Console may not be available because the necessary Order Management licenses/features are not provisioned in that org.
