Hi Trailblazer Community,
I’m trying to complete the “Set Up a Warehouse and Resources” module for Set Up Tours for Direct Store Delivery in Agentforce Consumer Goods
.
I created a new Developer Edition using the Trailhead-provided cg-cloud-252 signup link
for the Agentforce Consumer Goods Developer Edition.
After completing the signup, the page says:
However, I haven’t received the verification email yet. I have already checked my Spam/Junk/Promotions
folders and searched my mailbox for Salesforce-related emails.
Could someone please advise me on how I can resend the verification email or activate the newly created Developer Edition
?
I need this specific org because the Trailhead challenge requires the preconfigured Agentforce Consumer Goods environment and sample data
.
Thank you.

If the verification email hasn’t arrived even after checking Spam/Junk/Promotions, I’d recommend contacting Trailhead Help with the signup screenshot and the cg-cloud-252 signup details. Since the challenge requires that specific preconfigured org, avoid creating another Developer Edition using a different signup link.
Hello,
I have a Salesforce Developer Edition account. I still have access to the email address associated with my account, but unfortunately I have forgotten my password.
The problem is that I have also forgotten the answer to my security question, so I cannot complete the password reset process.
I am the only administrator of this Developer Edition org.
Could you please help me reset my password and regain access to my Salesforce Developer Edition?
I can provide my Salesforce username and any other information required to verify that I am the owner/administrator of the org.
Thank you very much for your help

Hi @abdel zaad
For a Developer Edition org where you've lost both your password and your security question answer, here's the actual path:
The actual support entry point is here: https://help.salesforce.com/s/
for Developer Edition specifically, look for "Trailhead/Developer Org" account help rather than the standard paid-support case flow, since DE orgs aren't tied to a paid support contract.
I hope you find the above information helpful. If it does, please mark it as Best Answer to help others too.
Recently encountered an interesting challenge related to access recovery in Salesforce Developer Orgs, and I believe it is worth discussing with the broader Salesforce community.
In certain scenarios, when a user logs into a Salesforce Developer Org through a VPN or corporate network, the security framework may identify the activity as suspicious and automatically freeze the account.
The challenge becomes critical when the impacted user is the only active user in the org, and the same user is also the sole System Administrator. In such cases, the Developer Org can become completely inaccessible.
What makes this more complex is that the current support and recovery journey appears to rely heavily on authentication. Even while attempting to contact support or create a case through Agentforce, users are generally expected to log in first, which is not possible in this scenario.
This creates a difficult recovery situation for individual developers, consultants, and small teams managing single admin Developer Orgs.
From a platform governance and operational resilience perspective, it may be valuable to consider additional recovery mechanisms such as alternative identity verification methods, non login based support escalation options, emergency recovery workflows for single admin orgs, or clearer guidance around VPN related access restrictions and preventive measures.
Security is absolutely essential, but equally important is having a reliable and well defined recovery path when legitimate users are unintentionally locked out.
Curious to know: Has anyone else in the Salesforce ecosystem experienced similar situations with Developer Orgs or security triggered account freezes?

After getting frozen for the second time I built a free fix: Unfreeze Manager.
It’s a managed package that runs in the background and automatically unfreezes selected users every 15 minutes (plus a sweep at midnight). It's a quick safety net so an accidental VPN login doesn't ruin your whole workday.

I am unable to complete my challenge because there are no account history records associated with the Grand Hotels & Resorts Ltd account. I have attempted to download another developer org to continue the challenge, but there are still no account history records linked to the Grand Hotels & Resorts Ltd account in my current org. What should I do?
Hello @Chinaza PhilipLeton you create accounthistory records by updating your records... that means in your case Grand Hotels & Resorts Ltd account, if the updated fields are defined as tracked in your account's history tracking fields list (list of the tracked fields : setup > object manager > account > fields & relationships > set history tracking).

Hi,
I wonder could anybody shed any light on this.
I have had this Account Engagement org for the last year and a half or so and log into it on a daily basis but recently I have gotten the following notice.
To manage the number of orgs during the migration of your sales activity data and services to Hyperforce, we delete the inactive orgs. Your org is scheduled for deletion around 15/11/2024.
Now I had checked and there was a different inactive org in my trailhead that was due to be deleted and I deactivated it, but in the case of this current Account Engagement developer org, I have a lot of alternative concepts, sketches and ideas that I trial out before I even go to my companies sandbox/production org and I am worried this notice is referring to my current Account Engagement Developer Org and will have to try to migrate everything before it goes.
Is this the case, are Salesforce doing away with Account Engagement demo orgs or is this just a migration notice and my current Account Engagement org will remain. Just need an answer before I start backing up code etc.
@PRADEEP AADARI's answer is inconclusive and not reassuring, so I filed a Premier Support ticket and got this response:
I have reviewed your concern with the team and found that the banner is regarding the migration of Salesforce services to Hyperforce (e.g. Sales Engagement, Einstein Activity Capture, Salesforce Inbox, Einstein Conversation Insights, Privacy Center) which is separate from the org’s Salesforce Core infrastructure. This is not an org migration to Hyperforce.
Banner: "To manage the number of orgs during the migration of your sales activity data and services to Hyperforce, we delete the inactive orgs. Your org is scheduled for deletion around 11/15/2024."
Kindly check below related article:-
Hyperforce Migration for Sales Engagement, Einstein Activity Capture, Salesforce Inbox, and Einstein Conversation Insights article:-

Also, regarding your concern to not delete the org, please note that only the Sales Activity Data will be deleted, not the whole org. Your other functionalities will not be impacted. Our team is already working to update the banner message as it's creating a lot of confusion.
I tried yesterday afternoon/evening and again this morning, trying different emails and different usernames. Is it something I am doing or is there other issues? I see others are having similar issues today.
Please help.
Thanks.
Hi, @Mary Richter
Currently, this is a common issue faced by many users. No one knows how to resolve it.
Please try again after a certain period of time, in 1-2-3 hours, or perhaps the next day.
But in any case, you are not alone in facing this issue, so I am confident that Salesforce will pay attention to this problem and resolve it soon.
For now, all that’s left is to wait. To pass the time while you wait, you can check out an interesting Trailhead dedicated to Halloween LINK.
You can also explore other interesting Trailheads that don't require a special dev org and can be completed on the standard Playground.

I'm trying to get a financial services cloud developer org set up which I can then link to my Trailhead account.
But, the setup email doesn't come through. When I first tried 2 days back the email came through to verify, but there was an error message when I clicked and went to sign in and I couldn't reset the password to actually login and use it. Hugely frustrating, such a basic issue and I cannot find out how to get support with it. As the new org is for my private use prior to starting a new job it doesn't look like I can use Salesforce support. I am very keen to get a look at this cloud! Can anyone offer any help or advice?
Thank you!
@Irina Saavedra I apologise for the length of time I have taken to reply! The answer is: it's not us. Trailhead Help were great and figured out it's an email issue. I used my gmail instead and it worked like a charm!
Hello! I'm creating a new Developer org for User Authentication Troubleshooting Superbadge Unit - I've tried multiple times and every time I go to verify and set password it asks me for my pets name. Ive only filled in the form and haven't set theis, cannot access the Org to change from within - any ideas? :)
I've also set up several new ones and they all do the same thing unfortunately.
I have an existing org in trailhead that whenever i verify a step always notify an error as "Whoops, looks like there was a problem. Please try again." even just basic workflow trails.
On playground it works just fine.
@mardion manso
The error message you're encountering suggests an issue with the connection between your Trailhead Playground (or Developer Org) and the development tools required for completing certain modules or projects on Trailhead, specifically those that require verification through Salesforce Extensions or Salesforce CLI (Command Line Interface)
