Making data entry faster and easier allows busy Program Staff to spend more time helping their clients. With Bulk Service Deliveries, you can enter multiple Service Deliveries at once. If you need to update the fields used to create a Program Engagement from Bulk Service Deliveries, simply update the CreateProgramEngagement field set.

Stage not required for new program engagement?

Does anyone know why is it possible to create a New Program Engagement from Bulk Service Deliveries without selecting a stage, even though the stage field is required in the field set?

 

I have a few users running into an issue where newly created Program Engagements are not showing up in the BSD list as an option to select, and it's usually because they did not select an active stage (Enrolled) now that I’ve turned on the BSDT Active Filter.

 

I've set up a report to alert when records > 0 for program engagements missing a stage, but I'd like to just make it required to force users to do it upon creation!

 

Also, sometimes when I test creating a new Program Engagement without a stage (which shouldn't be possible), it sometimes saves without a stage and other times automatically sets the stage to Enrolled.

 

Is this a bug? Any suggestions?

    Thanks for the suggestion, but I confirmed it's the correct field set by adding and removing a test field to this layout.

Can you reorder the Services list on the BSD page to a custom order?

Is it possible to reorder the Services dropdown list on the Bulk Service Deliveries page to a custom order instead of the default alphabetical order? I have a request from a user that the services that most frequently need to be selected are unfortunately at the bottom of the alpha list, and would love to customize the order.  #Salesforce Admin #PMM #Nonprofit Success Pack

Can you use BSD in PMM to track assignments in a Service (course)? If so, how and if not, how can you do this using PMM?

Business Requirements are: (Homework) Assignments will be labeled with a description area, will be marked "complete and on time" " complete late" and "not complete" for each service participant within each service session.

PMM Service being offered is a 2 month class workshop where we are using PMM to track attendance , application process, (homework) assignments. We not believe EDA is a viable solution at this point and require a less complex declarative approach just for basic assignment tracking. We are considering only "Complete or Not Complete" as well to make it even simpler.

Looking for some guidance:

    @James Browne​ Both ideas sound good. We have to Mass create new Assignments somehow as well(a request by the instructor). I will keep you posted our final decision. Thank you so much for sharing!

Can I create bulk service deliveries for the same client in PMM?

I'm very excited about the new PMM - and got very excited about the bulk service delivery functionality in particular, but now think I may have missed something...

We run 121 mentoring sessions for clients, delivered by volunteers normally weekly (during term time) over a 12 month period. Each session is a service delivery.

I would like to be able to add these service deliveries in one go (cf, job recurrence schedules in Volunteers for Salesforce), ie setting a start date, recurrence interval, end date etc for the sessions which then creates all the relevant service delivery records.

This doesn't look like it is possible atm, but perhaps I am missing something.

If I'm not I would like to know:

Whether this functionality is planned (and if so for when)? (I would definitely vote for this!)

Are there any solutions or workarounds for this?

This would make a huge difference to our organisation in terms of admin time so I am prepared to put in the time and effort to work this out, just need a steer on how complex this would be and some tips on the best way to do this/where to start.

    Adding @Meg Gray​ for further comment on recurring SD's. You can create an Idea today, but you can't select PMM just yet. We'll be adding the ability to select PMM when creating a new Idea in the next month or so.
