Marketing Cloud SMS Tip for Australian Audiences ๐ฆ๐บ
Something I recently learned that might save others a headacheโฆ
If you're sending SMS messages via Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Marketing Cloud Engagement) and using From Names (Sender IDs) for your Australian contacts, you must
have those Sender IDs registered.
๐ก Hereโs the catch:
Youโll need to reach out to your
Account Executive and request the form titled โThird Party Authority to use Sender ID(s)โ.- Your AE will oversee the provisioning
- Itโs free of charge.
- And if you donโt do it, your SMS messages might show as coming from
โUnverifiedโโnot a great look for brand trust!
