Salesforce has a commitment to providing Trailblazers with opportunities to accelerate their careers, highlight their skills, and validate their expertise. With that, we are excited to introduce the Salesforce Business Analyst Certification exam!    

The Salesforce Business Analyst credential is designed for Certified Salesforce Administrators who understand business needs, capture requirements, and collaborate with stakeholders to develop Salesforce solutions that drive business improvements. Candidates should have knowledge of Salesforce best practices and be proficient in planning discovery activities, mapping business processes, eliciting requirements, and writing user stories.  

 Registration begins July 11, 2022, but Trailblazers may begin studying today via our Certification Exam Guide and Prepare for your Salesforce Business Analyst Credential Trailmix.

The Salesforce Business Analyst certification exam is for individuals who want to demonstrate their knowledge, skills, and experience in the following key areas:   

• Customer Discovery - Determine business strategies, goals, initiatives, and challenges to define the scope of business analysis.
• Collaboration with Stakeholders - Plan discovery activities based on the target stakeholders to perform a thorough analysis of business needs.
• Business Process Mapping - Demonstrate how to define the scope of a complex business process and break it down into manageable steps.
• Requirements - Distinguish between requirements vs. user stories to engage business and technical stakeholders.
• User Stories - Understand the components of a user story to perform thorough analysis.
• User Acceptance - Define and prepare the User Acceptance Test plan to confirm the solution meets the business requirements.
