I've been using VR for many years but have not updated to the most recent vn on the appexchange. I am using vn 1.1. I have been reading about VR2 vs VR classic, and I'm confused about the difference, and am worried that I'll break my VR functionality if I install the version on the appexchange (1.15, but I don't know if that's "VR2" or "VR classic". Can anyone clarify?
Separate question: I have noticed that the load report back from VR in a recent VR email campaign lists a bunch of Unsubscribes whose Contact records in SF do not have the Email Opt Out checkbox checked. I thought that VR automatically checked that checkbox when someone unsubscribes - that pressing the Update Statistics button was not required. Am I missing something?
I also noticed that VR documentation has a feature called Global Sync, but it is in the VR Setting tab which does not even exist in my version of VR. Might that control when the Email Opt Out checkbox is checked, and must I install the newest vn (VR2) to get it?
