Hi everyone,
I am currently blocked on the Craft an Effective Prompt Template challenge from the Become an Agentblazer Legend 2026 (Service Agent Customization with Prompt Builder) module.
Even though my prompt template is saved, successfully activated, and the "Deactivate" button is visible and enabled, the Trailhead assessment keeps failing with the following error:
"We can’t find the merge field {!$Input:Contact.FirstName} in the prompt template."
I have already verified that Einstein is fully enabled and active in my Org, and I am using the correct special Developer Edition Org requested for this module. I also tried deleting the text and inserting the resource strictly using the "Insert Resource" picker tool (which properly turns into the visual blue token button in the UI).
Has anyone faced this specific validation sync issue or found a workaround regarding the selected LLM model or hidden spaces when Einstein is active? Any guidance would be highly appreciated!

Since your prompt template is saved and activated, and you have already inserted the merge field using Salesforce’s Resource Picker, the next step is to verify that the template’s input resource and API name match the challenge requirements exactly.
I recommend reopening the template, confirming that Contact.FirstName is configured as the correct input resource, saving the template, and ensuring the latest version is activated before rerunning the Trailhead assessment. Also, verify that the challenge is being checked against the same Developer Edition org in which you created the template.
If the issue persists despite these checks, it may require further investigation into the challenge validation process rather than additional changes to Einstein settings or the LLM model.
