Unable to authorize my trailhead playground from my visual Studio Code with the correct password

Hi Community,

This error is making drive up the wall. I am trying to authorize my test sandbox with correct username and password to validate one of my trailhead exercises. I am using VS code for the first time and I had few hurdles getting here. But with this one I am lost.

I have tried.

Reinstalling CLI so far

Reset password on my sandbox ( I can login successfully with my new resettled password)

Have it logged in before hand

I do Ctrl+SHIFT+P --> AUth an org --> I chose sandbox -> Default name --> my creds in test.salesforce.com and it says this!

Any thoughts on how to get past this error is much appreciated.
