Hello Trailblazers,

I have issue that internal calls are being tracked in ECI, even when our email domain is excluded in the Google Meet Video Setup page in Salesforce (we only use Google vendor for now). What I've found out is that most of the times VideoCallParticipants do not have email field filled at all thus it can't recognize it as an internal call. This makes our Video Call data flooded with internal calls that we don't want to summarize.

I wonder if anyone else faced similar issue? What could be solution for this?

@Max Jedrzejewski    Are any participants joining as guests or from a meeting room? Salesforce says ECI doesn’t receive their email addresses in those cases and treats the call as external. Are any participants joining as guests or from a meeting room? Try a call with two employees logged into their company Google accounts. If the emails are still blank, raise an SF Support case with this example to check why they’re not coming through.

I've activated the In-Person Meetings and it is capturing the transcript on the mobile device for an event\meeting, however, I can't see the saved transcript when in Salesforce via the desktop.

Just wanted to confirm if and where the transcript should appear when accessing Salesforce on the desktop.

We don't have Agentforce, but are on Enterprise edition.

The transcript will be stored in Video Call Recording object. The transcript is accessible using standard action Retrieve Transcript.

Important Update: Einstein Conversation Insights Migration to The Salesforce Platform in June or July 2026Important Update: Einstein Conversation Insights Migration to The Salesforce Platform in June or July 2026What’s changing? What’s changing?

Salesforce is migrating Einstein Conversation Insights data — including call transcripts and insights — from the current Activity Platform to the Salesforce Platform in June or July 2026.

Why is Salesforce making this change?

This migration improves:

  • Reliability: The Salesforce Platform provides better data consistency and stability.
  • Efficiency: Reduces infrastructure complexity and cost to serve.
  • Integration: ECI data is natively available to the Salesforce Platform tools and workflows.

What do I need to do before migration?

To ensure a smooth transition, we recommend taking the following steps before your scheduled migration date:

  • Review your ECI configuration: Ensure your ECI settings are up to date.
  • Prepare for Vendor Transcript Processing: As part of the migration, Vendor Transcript Processing is automatically enabled for your org. To ensure uninterrupted call transcription, users must re-authenticate their video meeting providers (Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, or Zoom) after migration. See Vendor Transcript Processing in Salesforce Help.
  • Prepare for changes to reporting: If your org currently uses Analytics for Conversation Insights, note that this feature is retiring in Summer '26. After your migration is complete, recreate your reports using Custom Report Types. See Create a Custom Report Type in the Enhanced Custom Report Type Builder in Salesforce Help.

What happens if I don't take action?

Your org will still be migrated on the scheduled date. However, to ensure continuity of your ECI experience with no disruption to your users, Salesforce highly recommends taking the necessary actions mentioned above.

    Hi @Priyanka Sahu,

You can create a demo org using the following URL.

First, log in to your Partner Community account.

Then, click on the link. On the page that opens, ensure you select the Demo Type JP-SDO-Sales-UE and fill in the other required details to create the org. Once your org is set up, you will find "Einstein Conversation Insights" inside it. Hi , You can create a demo org using the following URL. First, log in to your Partner Community account. Hi there,

I'm looking to get started with Einstein Conversation Insights. Do you have any recommendations on the order of the modules?

Thank you!

Any way to pull the call transcript from conversation insights? I know the AI processes this data and wondering if there is a way to view it.  #Einstein Conversation Insights

Hi,

I'm nearly complete with a highly frustrating and painful implementation of HVS with Einstein Call Analytics using an open CTI...

The final missing piece in the puzzle is how to add a related list of voice calls to contact and lead records... All the guides I've read on this seem to suggest this is only possible with ServiceCloud!

The Voicecall record page shows me details of related contact / lead, but I'm not able to do the reverse - The related "Voice call" list is not available to add to record pages...

Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong or may have overlooked?

Fingers crossed!

Bruce

@Bruce Hayes Finally somebody speaking my language! I am dogged by the same issue. I have been implementing voice for a client and this is one outstanding BUG. Exactly what you describe. I have many Voice Call records where the Related To Contact or Related To Lead is filled out. Navigate to the Contact or Lead and Voice Call related list... goose eggs. Zero, zilch, nada... You posted this on July 7 and this is the measly response you've received so far? Yikes. I have a support ticket which has me on the road to nowhere fast. @Matt Crane any thoughts?
