Kenny Quach ha fatto una domanda in #Sales Cloud

Trying to create a Account manager account so that I can in turn, create a Business Manager account. The reason I want to do this is to just try out and test out the Page Designer in a sort of sandbox environment. Just testing it out, nothing set up yet.

It is my understanding that an Account Manager + Business Manager account is needed to play around with Page Designer.

Not sure what way to get around this. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

@Kenny Quach There are three ways for you to get your hands on a B2C Commerce environment (and subsequently Page Designer)

    • For customers and prospects: Please reach out to your Commerce Cloud Account Executive
    • For System Integrator (SI) partners: reach out to your Partner Manager, or see details here about becoming a Salesforce Partner where you can get your own sandboxes
    • For ISVs and ISV prospects: You can complete this form if you are looking to be an ISV Partner where you can get a trial sandbox.

There are unfortunately no trial orgs or playgrounds for B2C Commerce.

    I hope this helps!

Has anyone gotten this to work? I created a new cartridge with /cartridge/templates/default/order/orderdetails.isml and /cartridge/templates/default/order/paymentdetails.isml but they are not being invoked when I lookup an order. The only one I can see working is /cartridge/templates/default/order/printorderinvoice.isml (which is called when you click the Print Order button)

Hi, I use Commerce Cloud Business Manager and i deployed an SFRA in a new sandbox.

Now I don't know how to proceed, what are the next steps to create my own storefront based on SFRA? I can't find an effective step by step guide online.

If you have any good references to recommend I would be very grateful.

Thank you

Hey,

I have recently started working on salesforce commerce cloud. I am trying to Install and Configure SFRA on my Sandbox. This is the trailhead I am following 'https://trailhead.salesforce.com/en/content/learn/modules/b2c-developer-resources-and-tools/b2c-developer-install-config-sfra'.

Issue:

1) When running npm run uploadCartridge I am getting the Error: Unauthorized. What places should I check to see if my permissions are correct? And what are the correct permissions.

2) I am not sure what should be the user and password in dw.json. Will it be my Business Manager user name and password?

I have tried using dwupload but getting the same error there as well.

Logs:

> sfra@5.1.0 uploadCartridge D:\SFCC\SFRA\storefront-reference-architecture

> sgmf-scripts --uploadCartridge app_storefront_base && sgmf-scripts --uploadCartridge modules && sgmf-scripts --uploadCartridge bm_app_storefront_base

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi @Christopher Lossa I am experiencing the same issue while building a new cartridge:

Hi I am experiencing the same issue while building a new cartridge:I have attached also my package.json file from storefront-reference-architecture github project.

I have attached also my package.json file from storefront-reference-architecture github project.

My User roles in BM are:

    - Business Manager Administrator

    - Business Manager User

Maybe I am using an older version of the sgmf-scripts package?

Hi,

I was wondering if someone could help me with something.

I want to access the information in the storefront if a user is logged in Business Manager. Basically it would be to only enable a feature on the Storefront on Staging for users that can access Business Manager.

I know I can see if a user is logged in as a customer on the website, but I'm not sure if it's possible to get that information for Business Manager.

Thanks in advance,

Antoine.

I have recently started working on salesforce commerce cloud. I am trying to create an overlay cartridge on SFRA. I am following the below trailhead.

https://trailhead.salesforce.com/en/content/learn/modules/b2c-cartridges/b2c-cartridges-customize and referring to 'With sgmf-scripts Globally Installed in the trailhead'

Questions

Where do we create the directory for Overlay cartridge

  • Should we create it inside SFRA or outside
  • Incase if we have to create it outside SFRA. How do we merge these folders inside the SFRA cartridges

ATTENTION COMMERCE CLOUD B2C USERS:

Beginning with the Commerce Cloud 21.3 GA release (9-March or 16-March, 2021 depending on what POD you are on), we’re requiring users to verify their identity using multi-factor authentication (MFA) in order to perform the following actions in Business Manager:

  • Embed objects into HTML attributes, e.g. with tags iFrame, embed, applet and object.  We introduced a similar requirement for JavaScript in HTML attributes in a previous release.

  • Use these Business Manager modules:

    • Code Replication

    • Data Replication

    • Site Import & Export

    • Jobs

With the 21.3 release, users who don’t log in with MFA are restricted from using the above Business Manager modules and actions in all instances.

Hi,

I'm new to B2C commerce cloud and I was wondering if there is a way to export list of users using Account Manager?

In my account manager I have a different set of users than in my business manager.

I'd like to do a user security audit. Any suggestions/best practices how to handle the export?

Thanks!

Roles in Account Manager are high-level, but basically:

Account Manager > can manage people accounts

Control Center > can restart/reset instances

CQuotient > can manage Einstein recommendations

eCommerce Platform > this is the one you're looking for if you're talking about Business Manager access rights. A user can either be BM Administrator (full access) or BM User (and then his rights depend on the role(s) he was assigned to in the BM), for each instance (dev, stg, prod).

Log Center > this is for developers/support team

Reports And Dashboards > can view the business reports (also useful for users)

XChange > legacy portal of information

In a nutshell, make sure your regular users are "BM Users" in the "eCommerce platform" section and not administrators, then double check the assigned roles in the BM of each instance, and you're all set.
