Refresh report only after selecting all filters in a dashboard

Question

Hi,

I have a requirement where I have 3 filters in a dashboard, and I want the report to refresh only after all the filters are applied.

For example when the users select the first filter I dont want the report to bring results,.It has to wait for all the 3 filters and then bring the results. The problem is I have 2 data sources in the same dashboard .

What is the best approach to fix this issue

I used parameters and set actions to display the filter list in sequence and show the results when each item is clicked. If this is what you wanted, I can provide additional explanation. Create a Set per each of the fields (right clic on the field in the data pane, and create set.  Choose all value option)  c. Add the sets to the filter shelf:   d. In the Dashboard, clic on the arrow and add the sets controls: e. Create a calc for the Dynamic Zone Visibility (Let's Call it DZV) {COUNTD(IF [Category Set] THEN [Category] END)<COUNTD([Category]) AND  COUNTD(IF [Sub-Category Set] THEN [Sub-Category] END)<COUNTD([Sub-Category]) AND  COUNTD(IF [Year Set] THEN [Year] END)<COUNTD([Year]) } f. Assign the DZV to the desired elements (Select the sheet, Layout Tab, control visibility using value and assign the DZV field)   g. Create a negative of the DZV field, let's call it Not DZV {NOT(COUNTD(IF [Category Set] THEN [Category] END)<COUNTD([Category]) AND  COUNTD(IF [Sub-Category Set] THEN [Sub-Category] END)<COUNTD([Sub-Category]) AND  COUNTD(IF [Year Set] THEN [Year] END)<COUNTD([Year])) } h.
