In just a few weeks the @Financial Services User Group will have its first anniversary! We officially formed this group in Mid-January this year after being inspired at #DF13

and had our first meeting in February this year. We have grown to over 900 members globally, have had 3 meetings, plus 2 joint meetings with other user groups. Looking forward to an exciting 2015.

Wondering if we can hit 1,000 members by February?!

I am attending the conference this year heavily pregnant. I was not going to miss Dreamforce! What would be the best way for me to get around to conferences? I heard the shuttles are way too slow to get around but I need to reduce walking.

    Thanks so much!!! All great tips! I'm focused mostly on the admin role, and I've clumped sessions together as much as possible. I'm keeping my schedule pretty flexible so I can stay around Moscone if my energy levels are low, but there were a couple hands-on trainings (on separate days) and circles of success that I wanted to attend. Between planning the location and the pedicabs I think I'll be fine :)

I have a dilemma. Do I give up a HOT for the Salesforce Admin Keynote?? Tough one, great line up for the keynote.

    It's a hard choice. but I lean towards the live in person events for the experience if I'm able to watch session when I get home.

I am looking to tap into the reporting API in order stream dashboards in real time on multiple screens. My goal is to have TV screens across our offices nationally and control what is being displayed on all screens from one central location. Does anyone know of a solution that has been successfully implemented with these requirements? I am OK with developing what I want to stream, the problem is not the technology required to accomplish this. @Andrew Kamuf@Chris Dawson

    Hey @Habiba Khan, I put together a proof of concept using a Heroku app, with the Ruby Dashing framework (https://github.com/Shopify/dashing) to be displayed on TVs around some of our call centers: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DwBSzfn3HWY there are additional links in that video's description to the framework, and sample code on #Github

    , but this might provide a good starting point.

    I gave a presentation on this at

    #DF13 which was also recorded (although the content is very similar to the previous video): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pOhmskB8FhQ

    If you're looking for an easy way to get these displaying on a TV, not hooked up with a computer, you should checkout

    @Pat Patterson's excellent blog post on using a #Chromecast! with a Visualforce page: https://developer.salesforce.com/blogs/developer-relations/2014/03/see-your-visualforce-pages-on-tv-with-chromecast.html
