Einstein Prediction Builder

With Einstein Prediction Builder, anyone can build predictions on any Salesforce data with clicks, not code, and embed AI into their processes and apps in hours, not months. Einstein Prediction Builder is built on the same declarative machine learning (ML) platform already powering other Einstein features in Sales, Service and Marketing. Einstein Prediction Builder will write back to the Salesforce Platform, so that admins can use the newly created fields in their current Salesforce workflow and layout tools, and display the predictions and trigger workflows within their applications. Use this group to ask questions of the product team

With Einstein Studio, Model Builder and all the recently announced Low Code and Pro Code Model Training features on AWS Sagemaker and Google Vertex AI, I am confused what the use cases are compared to AI features that exist for many years like Einstein Discovery, Prediction and Recommendation Builder.

Will this new version of AI tools slowly replace the old generation?

Einstein Studio has an Add Predictive Model action which allows you to either connect to an external predictive model, or to create a model from scratch. When you choose to create a model from scratch, you are led through the configuration of a predictive model with essentially the same features as have previously existed in Einstein Prediction Builder. The major difference is that all of the data sources for training and test data, as well as data sources when you're ready to make inferences, are the Data Cloud DMOs.

The Einstein Prediction Builder feature which has been in the platform for several years will probably continue to exist for customers who have no interest in using Data Cloud,  and have good data management practices within Salesforce Core. But it is inherently more limited due to its needing to work with data within the legacy Salesforce object storage. My own prediction is that we will see the Einstein Model Builder take on a greater diversity of data science use cases and product evolution in years to come, and that the Einstein Prediction Builder will always be limited to its current feature set of regression and classification only.

I've activated einstein prediction in our org and made a numeric prediction related to a fieldthat calculates the value of an account 1 to 10 in the account object.

We aren't using einstein discovery right now. Just the prediction options in the set up.

I have two questions:

1. The number prediction is really long and I'm unable make it shorter even changing the lenght of the result prediction field or changing the lenght of the field we want to predict. Is there a way of making it shorter?

2. In case we did the prediction throught einstein discovery, can users without a license see the component on the account? Or is it just available for licensed users?

Thank you if read this =)

    Hello

    1. Regarding the length of the prediction, if you're using Einstein Prediction Builder to create the prediction, you can't directly control the length of the predicted value. However, you can manipulate the predicted value using formulas in Salesforce. For example, if your prediction is a decimal number between 1 and 10, you can use a formula field to round the prediction to a certain number of decimal places or convert it into a whole number. This can help shorten the length of the prediction. Alternatively, you can use Apex triggers or processes to manipulate the prediction value after it's generated by Einstein Prediction Builder.
    2. If you're using Einstein Discovery, users without a license won't be able to directly interact with the Einstein Discovery component on the Account page. Access to Einstein Discovery features typically requires a Salesforce Einstein Analytics Plus license. However, you can still use the predictions generated by Einstein Discovery in your Salesforce processes, such as workflows, validation rules, or Apex triggers, to automate actions or decisions based on the predictions. This way, users without a license can indirectly benefit from the predictions through the automated actions triggered by them.

When i navigate to Set up and search for "Einstein Prediction Builder" , i am getting other options starting with the word "Einstein" but not exactly getting "Einstein Prediction Builder". What else am I missing?

We are testing out the prediction builder for Oppties.   Stats like Likelihood to close , and likelihood to close on time seems to inconsistent.   The org we are working on presently does not seem to doing much on the actitivity (tasks / events) side and I was wondering whether this could be one of the reasons as to why the predictions are all over the place.    Any help would be great.   @Marco Casalaina @Ayori Selassie @* Sales Cloud - Getting Started * @Emily Stephens @* Salesforce Platform * @* Salesforce Administrators *

Hi, apart REST API, how is possible to use the Prection data to manage integration with other module for example Marketing Cloud?

I have enrolled in the Einstein Prediction Builder curriculum in Partner Learning Camp but have not yet completed all the courses within the curriculum, currently at 87% completion. Meanwhile, I have registered for the Accredited Professional certification and successfully passed the exam. Is it necessary to complete all the pending courses to obtain the Einstein Prediction Builder AP certificate? Are the pending courses in the curriculum prerequisites, or can they be left unfinished?

Hi everyone,

Have you exprience this? The prediction works perfectly for weeks and then it stopped.

Thanks,

Hi team,

Looks like the Einstein AI Academy on heroku doesn't exists anymore. Do you know any similar site to learn preparing the Einstein Prediction Builder AP exam?

Yes, Partner Learning Camp has some good resources for the Einstein Prediction Builder AP exam.

Hi al, looking for some guidance around best practices for building an intent model. We have a chatbot with 100+ possible responses and was wondering has anyone built an intent based solution with this sort of scale and had success ? Currently the bot is not very accurate, I have about 100 utterances per intent. Is there a way to classify these in a hierarchical structure so for example if a user chose menu option A it would only examine a small group of intents for possible answers ?

Just a heads up that in the future you don't need to create multiple posts for the same question.

You can add additional @ mentions in your post to add to multiple groups and also add additional topics.

In this article Considerations for Setting Up Einstein Prediction Builder it references "Specially-constructed formula fields" as being allowed to use for building predictions. It doesn't specify what makes something specially constructed.

Does anyone know what the requirements are to be specially constructed?

(please do not post a link to a knowledge article that doesn't actually provide info on it)

I wish I could set it up identical but this is a massive managed package that has like 6 packages that have to be installed first and it would take legit 2+ days to get the base data there to be able to go configure it.

The front line support said they are asking the engineering team and it normally takes 24-72 hours for them to get a response.
