📣 Attention UK & Europe Salesforce.org community!! 📣

We're hosting the first virtual Open Source Community Sprint in your timezone on June 29th and we want you to be there. :)

Save-the-date 29/06 now and watch this space for official registration, coming in late May.

✅️ We want to hear from you! If you have a project idea to tell me about and bring to the Sprint, or to volunteer to help join the planning committee, reply or send me a direct message!

Or, if you're an existing Sprint project leader and would like to bring your project to Europe, let me know! We'd love to have a combination of new local ideas and existing established projects to work on during the event.

See you then!

M.A. Sridhar, the co-founder and chief architect of Apsona, passed away unexpectedly on February 4th at his home in San Jose, California. His many friends and colleagues in the Salesforce Community are gathering next week to celebrate his legacy, and the contributions he made to our work and lives. One of his friends recently called him "a gentle giant," and we know that he was a giant in compassion, kindness and his support for nonprofits all over the Salesforce ecosystem.

There will be three gatherings to cover different time zones.  Come to the gathering of your choice - or all of them - to share stories about meeting and working with “Sridhar” (as he was known to most of us), and hear about how Apsona came to be.  We'll also have some photos to share; if you have others, you can forward them to Trish Perkins at worldstouch@gmail.com.

I'm just hearing this. I had many interactions with him and his wife. Such lovely and kind people. He will be greatly missed.
