Hi everyone! We currently have a "Lead Submission Form" used by our customer service reps (CSRs). When they receive inbound calls, the CSRs fill out the Lead Submission Form and choose a sales rep (custom field). I have completion items that assign the user based on what is chosen in the sales rep custom field. I also notify the sales rep chosen. I'm currently at my limit of completion items, but I have one more sales rep to add. Am I missing a better way to do this? I have tried to go the engagement studio route, but it's required to add a recipient list, and I'm not sure what to put there... Any suggestions are welcome! Thank you!!

We have a requirement to create customized component like Engagement History Dashboard in Salesforce.

Any idea or help appreciated.

Thank you

Sumit

    Hi Sumit,

Build it as a custom LWC + Apex component, backed by the Engagement History related objects.

    @ishwarya k

Good news - that Pardot Developer Edition org does include Account Engagement, it just has to be switched on first. Steps:

    1. Gear icon (top right) > Marketing Setup, then set yourself as a Business Unit admin (assign your user to the Pardot Business Unit).

    2. In Marketing Setup, under 'Go Beyond the Basics', find 'Turn on Pardot Lightning App in Salesforce' and enable it.

    3. Then open the App Launcher (waffle icon, top-left) and search 'Pardot' (a.k.a. Account Engagement / B2B Marketing Automation) - it will be there.

If it still does not show, confirm your user has the Pardot/Account Engagement permission set assigned.

If this helps, please mark it as the Best Answer so it helps the next person - thanks!

Hi everyone,

We're currently working on a CNIL-related requirement in France and I'd love to hear how other Account Engagement customers are handling this scenario.

We have implemented a custom consent field to identify prospects who:

-Consent to receive marketing communications.

-Do not consent to email tracking (opens and click tracking).

Identifying these prospects is not the challenge. We can easily segment them using the custom field.

The challenge is understanding what can actually be sent to them through Account Engagement while respecting their tracking preference.

From what I've seen, Account Engagement does not appear to offer a way to disable open and click tracking

at the individual prospect level

while still sending the same HTML email as the rest of the audience. The options seem to be limited to:

Sending a separate email with tracking disabled (Sending plain text emails).

Disabling tracking more broadly (Account level).

Using another platform for these recipients (Too risky).

I've also noticed that some other marketing platforms seem to allow individual recipients to be excluded from tracking statistics while continuing to receive the same email content (ActiveTrail).

So my questions are:

How are you managing prospects who opt out of open/click tracking but still want to receive marketing emails?

Is there any native Account Engagement capability that we're missing?

Are you sending a different type of email to these prospects?

Have you implemented a workaround that satisfies CNIL or similar privacy requirements?

I'd be very interested in hearing about real-world implementations and lessons learned.

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

we have been using the current email experience editor in Email Content now for about 2 years. Knowing that this editor is not being supported any more, we sometimes face now problems while trying to edit a two-column row layout, which is already previously added to the email. When this email is going to be edited newly, the different elements, whether it is rich text or image component, they are not editable. Most of the time it happens by the same user who previously has created that layout before. At the same time, when another user tries to do the same, it is possible. And eventhough the affected user logs himself out and deletes the cache, that does not help.

Do anyone have same issues- or even better, what helps?

Mia

    Hi Mia,

We have seen similar behaviour. Here are the most effective fixes and workarounds for this behaviour:

    Clear Session Locks:

Have the user open another email record, enter the builder, click Save & Exit, then return. Lingering session tokens often cause user-specific locks.

    Disable Browser Extensions:

Open the editor in an Incognito / Private window with extensions (especially ad blockers or Salesforce extensions) disabled, as they often block click events on nested layouts.

    Reset Browser Zoom:

Set zoom strictly to 100% (Ctrl + 0 / Cmd + 0); display scaling frequently breaks click targets in multi-column rows.

    Clone the Email:

Clone the affected Email Content record—this immediately clears corrupted layout DOM metadata and usually restores editability.

    Verify CMS/File Access:

Ensure the user has contributor permissions to any Salesforce CMS workspace or Asset Library folder used by the images inside that row.

    Thanks

    Siva

Hi all! Happy Friday! I wanted to know if there is a way or a particular report in Pardot through which I can get a list of prospects who opened my email? Thanks in advance for your help!

    Hi Saad

Yes, there is. Under Marketing > Emails > Sent, click on the Name of the email you've sent. On the top right of the page that just opened, there's a "View Report" button. Click on that. Then you will see the report of the email sent, including Unique HTML Opens which are all the unique prospects that opened your email.

If the email was sent as an email template, you could search for it through Reports > Marketing Assets > Email Templates. Then Navigate to Unique HTML Opens and click the hyperlink. This will take you to the page of all the prospects that opened your email template.

I've noticed I'm dealing with a fair amount of bot clicks on emails, where I can see one prospect has clicked virtually every single link in an email on multiple days. Anecdotally they mostly seem to be from China, or education/university email addresses (the latter I am guessing is coming from university spam protection tools).

I was reading about visitor filters here:

https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=000383306&type=1

That page says it was published in Sep 2025, however I can see that all our visitor filters say Last Updated 1 April 2019, which I believe is when the organisation got Pardot.

[PD-SYS] Visitor Filters - are these up to date?

Does that mean these filters have not been touched since then, and are they still relevant? I would imagine a lot could change in 7 years...

    @Charlotte Fabb

Those [PD-SYS] Proofpoint filters are system-managed by Salesforce, so the 1 April 2019 date is simply when they were provisioned to your account when you got Pardot — a static date is normal for system filters and doesn't mean they've gone stale or that you need to maintain them. The key point though: visitor filters only suppress website Visitor activity (page views recorded by your tracking code), not email link clicks — so they were never going to stop the bot clicks you're seeing against prospects. Those clicks come from email security gateways (Proofpoint URL Defense, Mimecast, Microsoft Safe Links) and university spam-protection tools that pre-scan every link before delivery; it's an industry-wide email issue that no visitor filter removes. Practical way to handle it: don't treat a single email click as a qualifying, scoring, or sales-alert trigger on its own — scanner clicks have tells (they fire within seconds of the send and usually hit every link in the email), so lean on those signals and require corroborating engagement (a form submission, or repeat visits across separate sessions) before you act on a click. If you use clicks in Engagement Studio or automation/completion actions, add a short time delay or a 'clicked 2+ distinct links' style guard so scanner traffic doesn't push prospects down the funnel. if this helps, please mark it as the Best Answer so it helps the next person — thanks 🙂

Excellent example for improving performance when using WhatsApp, especially for those with many agents using this tool. Enable subtitles in your language and 1080p quality:

Hi everyone,

We create email templates regularly in Account Engagement automations. I always select for these to be available as 1:1 emails as well. I assumed this meant they would show up in Salesforce as email templates users could select when emailing a contact, however they do not. Do you think this is an issue with our settings? Or is this a problem with the way Account Engagement and Salesforce are integrated? Thank you so much in advance for your help!

    @Emily Grefer

If you want reps to send these from Salesforce with Account Engagement tracking, use the Engage feature. Reps send via the "Send Account Engagement Email" button on the record, which does show your 1:1 Account Engagement templates and tracks engagement (opens/clicks) back to Account Engagement. This is the intended path and probably what you're really after.

If you want the templates in the native Salesforce email composer (the standard Email action), you'd have to recreate them as Salesforce email templates. There's no sync that carries them over. Keep a parallel set for that if you want.

So, the checkbox just doesn't do what it sounds like.

If you want these usable from Salesforce,  Engagement is the route. Native Salesforce templates are a separate thing.
