I have added 2 new content zones using the sitemap (one on the homepage as local content zone, and one as a global content zone). I can see the content zones in the SDK editor as live (both are detected), but when I try to create a template to connect the zones I am not getting those zones as an option to choose from.
What am I missing?

You can set the contentZone manually as this doc shows which is generally easier too https://developer.salesforce.com/docs/marketing/personalization/guide/server-side-campaigns-content-zones.html
