ADRIÁN GUIRAO CORTÉS a posé une question dans #Certifications

I am studying the associated certification, and I came across a question that I do not know what the answer is, since, in my opinion, either of the two can be correct according to thought.

The question is:

A Salesforce associate recently relocated from Get Cloudy Consulting's San Francisco office to its new London Office. The associate wants to change their personal work hours information in the Salesforce org to reflect their new time zone.

Which method is easiest to change these settings?

A. Go to Setup > Company Information > Default Time Zone

B. Submit a case with Salesforce support

C. My Personal Information > Language & Time Zone

I think the answer should be A. The reason is because it is the entire office that moves, not just one person. But, I am seeing many people who think that it is C, that each user should change their personal Time Zone.

I have doubts beyond whether it is an exam question or not. I really wish it would be the most logical thing in this situation.

Thanks for answering,

Kind regards.

    Hi @ADRIÁN GUIRAO CORTÉS,

Answer C is the right answer because it will only change the time zone of the individual or personal user.

On the other hand, option A will change the time zone at the organization level. That may not be ideal for other users and also affect users in the organization.

I hope this will answer your question.
