Hi All,

I'm facing an issue with setting up an IF statement in MS Word to display text only when the value of a merged field from Conga is equal to 3. Following is my syntax on the MS Word template:

{ If"{MERGEFIELD  CCC_HOME_LOAN_SPLIT_NUMBER_OF_BORROWERS  \* MERGEFORMAT }"="3""It is 3""Not 3" }

I can get the correct value (which is 3) to be displayed using this syntax:

{{TableStart:LoanSplitdetails}}{{CCC_HOME_LOAN_SPLIT_NUMBER_OF_BORROWERS}}{{TableEnd:LoanSplitdetails}} - this displays "3"

But the IF statement is not working and when I toggle fields on the exported file, I see this:

{ If""="3""It is 3""Not 3"} - and the output is "Not 3" even though the merged field value is 3.

With another field, the IF statement is working:

{ If"{MERGEFIELD  HOME_LOAN_CONTACT_ROLE_STATUS   \* MERGEFORMAT }"="Active""It Is Active""Not Active" } - this is correctly displaying "It Is Active" as it should and I see the following on the exported file when I toggle field codes:

{ If "Active"="Active""It Is Active""Not Active"}

It would be great if somebody can help out.

Regards,

Jasim

    Hello !

    I think you forgot the startTable and EndTable around your mergefield {{TableStart:LoanSplitdetails}}{ If"{MERGEFIELD  CCC_HOME_LOAN_SPLIT_NUMBER_OF_BORROWERS  \* MERGEFORMAT }"="3""It is 3""Not 3" }{{TableEnd:LoanSplitdetails}}
