What Is CLAIRE Copilot?
Have you ever wished you had a knowledgeable colleague sitting right next to you while you work? Someone you could ask questions, describe what you’re trying to do, and get instant, useful help from? That’s what CLAIRE Copilot provides.
CLAIRE Copilot is a built-in AI assistant inside IDMC. You interact with it through a simple conversation window, just like a chat. You type what you need in plain, everyday language, and CLAIRE Copilot responds with answers and suggestions. Or it builds something for you on the spot.
Anyone can use CLAIRE Copilot with natural language. You don’t need to be a data expert to use it. You don’t need to know any special commands or technical syntax. If you can describe what you’re trying to accomplish, CLAIRE Copilot can help you get there.
It’s available right inside IDMC across three key areas.
- Data integration
- Application integration
- Master data management (MDM) SaaS (which includes Customer 360, Product 360, Supplier 360, and Multidomain MDM)
Check out how CLAIRE Copilot helps in each area.
Connect and Move Data
One of the most common tasks in IDMC is moving data from one place to another. For example, you might move customer records from a sales system and load them into a reporting tool. This kind of work normally requires a good understanding of how data is structured, which fields go where, and what rules apply during the transfer.
With CLAIRE Copilot, you don’t need to figure all of that out on your own. You simply describe what you want to do—for example, “I need to move customer data from our sales system to our reporting tool and only include active accounts"—and CLAIRE Copilot gets to work. It puts together the flow for you, connects your data source to your destination, and applies the rules you described.
If you’re not sure what a specific data flow you’ve been handed actually does, you can ask CLAIRE Copilot to explain it to you in plain language. It can give you a quick summary about what the data flow does, or a more detailed breakdown if you need to understand each step.
You can also ask CLAIRE Copilot questions at any point—things like “What does this step do?” or “How do I filter records by date?"—and it will answer in a way that actually makes sense, without requiring you to dig through documentation yourself.
Connect Business Apps
Many organizations use multiple business tools such as a CRM, a helpdesk system, a marketing platform, and more. Getting these tools to share information with each other is what application integration is all about.
Setting up these connections used to require a deep understanding of each system and how they communicate. CLAIRE Copilot makes this much more accessible. You describe what you want—for example, “When a new lead is created in Salesforce, I want a corresponding ticket to be created in ServiceNow”—and CLAIRE Copilot helps you build the process that makes it happen.
It works with a wide range of popular tools such as Salesforce, ServiceNow, Marketo, Jira, NetSuite, and Microsoft Dynamics 365, among others.
Just like with data integration, CLAIRE Copilot can also explain an existing connection to you in plain language. So if someone on your team has already set something up and you need to understand how it works, you can simply ask.
Navigate Your Master Data
Master data is your organization’s most important business information. It’s your customers, products, suppliers, and locations. Keeping this data accurate, consistent, and trustworthy is critical to making good business decisions.
CLAIRE Copilot brings its conversational, easy-to-use interface to MDM SaaS as well. This lets anyone explore and understand your organization’s master data without needing to be a data expert.
- Find what data you have: Ask CLAIRE Copilot to show you what types of business data your organization manages. It gives you a clear, visual list and even suggests follow-up questions to explore further.
- Understand your data better: Ask questions about a specific type of data—like customers—and CLAIRE Copilot tells you what fields it contains, what rules apply to it, and how it’s organized. You get a clear picture of your data without having to navigate complex screens or read technical documentation.
- Explore your actual records: You can search for specific records, spot patterns in your data, and even ask CLAIRE Copilot to create visual charts—like a pie chart showing the breakdown of your account types, or a bar chart showing records by location. This makes it easy to get a quick, meaningful view of your data without running complex reports.
Tips for Getting the Best Out of CLAIRE Copilot
CLAIRE Copilot is designed to be intuitive, but a few simple habits help you get even better results.
- Be specific about what you want: The more detail you give, the better the output. Instead of saying “move my data,” try “move active customer records from Salesforce to our data warehouse, keeping only name, email, and account type.”
- Have your details ready: Before you start, know the names of the systems you’re working with and what you want to happen. This helps CLAIRE Copilot give you exactly what you need on the first try.
- You stay in control: CLAIRE Copilot builds and opens things for you, but it doesn’t save, publish, or run anything automatically. You always review what it’s created and make the final call.
- Start fresh for new tasks: If you’re moving on to a completely different task, clear the conversation so previous context doesn’t carry over and affect your new request.
Why CLAIRE Copilot Matters

Whether you move data, connect business tools, or make sense of your organization’s records, CLAIRE Copilot is there to guide you and do the hard work—so you can focus on getting results.
