I recently posted an idea to the Tableau Community for improvements to ranking and Top N. I'd appreciate your review of and vote for the idea. Constructive feedback is also genuinely welcomed.

Fixed_Rank() and Top_N() Functions

The genesis of the idea is a business request to compare (1) the contribution of Top 10 teams for a territory to (2) the contribution of the Top 10 teams of the Top 5 territories. The business had to accept that 2nd result as the concentration across all territories after an uncomfortably detailed discussion of Table Calcs 😏
