Hi Friends,

I'm trying to embed one of the Tableau Public dashboard on my blogsite. I would like to disable the share option from the bottom toolbar. But even after trying the parameter options given in Tableau online help, I am not able to disable the share option.

I've added the following parameter to the Embed code from Tableau Public but with no success.

<param name="showShareOptions" value="false" />

Is this behaviour only for Tableau Public and does it works fine in Tableau Online?

Thanks in advance!

Ashish

    Hi Ashish,

    You're correct, that behavior is just for Public. One of the most important aspects of Tableau public is to be able to share and learn with everybody, so we can't hide the toolbar using parameters or the JavaScript API. On Tableau Online or Server, you can.

    Hope this helps.
