We would like to have a DNS redirect to our Tableau Online instance. We have a CNAME on our Amazon Route 53 DNS redirecting tableau.ourcompany.org -> online.tableau.com.
We are getting a 500 error when using http://tableau.ourcompany.org and an SSL cert warning when using https://tableau.ourcompany.org. The cert seems to be affiliated with "us-east-1.online.tableau.com". I don't know if this makes a difference or not.
Did we do something incorrect on our DNS entry? It will resolve via https:// if we agree to accept the cert.

I would recommend changing the CNAME record to go directly to us-east-1 because that won't change while your account is active (and even if it does, it's a simple fix in your DNS)
