I want to remove household from the account name, I have about 40,000 records where I want to remove the word household from the name.

I believe there is a NPSP Account Setting that lets you specify how household accounts are named. And then there is a bulk rename trigger available in the same general NPSP settings area to rename everything in the background. I haven't done it in a while so not sure where it hides.
