Hi everyone, I’m working on the 'Discount Approval Process' module, and I’ve noticed that email templates are set up to notify the requestors about the approval or rejection of their discount requests. However, I’m unsure how the approvers get notified about these requests. Is there a separate notification setup for approvers, or do they automatically get alerts through the approval process? Please clarify.

In Salesforce, approvers receive notifications about approval requests through various mechanisms, depending on the approval process settings. Here are the main methods:
- Automatic email notifications
- Chatter notifications
- Approval list records
- Salesforce in-app notifications
If the organization uses the new Lightning interface, approvers can receive notifications in the Salesforce notification panel.
