I've added it to our layout and when I click on Start Timer it says "starting timer" but the timer never appears.
And if I click on Stop Timer nothing happens. No time entry is being created.

Hello Lorena,
We do not have any currently known issues with the Task Timer, however I do see where you also opened a case with us.
From that case we will be able to reproduce this issue and investigate the root cause in order to work towards a solution.
