Trigger Validations in a Flow

Question

Hello All,

I have a requirement to create a record in a custom object in a flow. There are some error messages which is written in the trigger of this custom object . When i execute this flow with the scenario matching the error requirement - i get this :

The only workaround i can think of is to have a decision tree and create and a screen , also tried the fault thingy . But is there any other workaround other than these because we want to limit the number of screens for better user experience. Please help me .

Hi Joe,

Very interesting, the error look like a validation error instead of coming from the trigger. The validation error looks very interesting as we cannot perform DML operations in validation so how this is showing up. Would you like to share the validation rule?
