Can someone offer support with this Visual Studio Code error when retrieving from Salesforce Org

@S Morgan Thank you for the detailed troubleshooting steps. I was able to get this resolved on Friday by uninstalling Salesforce CLI, running SFDX update in VSC terminal, and then rebooting my laptop
@Tarun sai sasi kumar Peela Did you reinstall Salesforce CLI and run SFDX update? If so, try rebooting your computer and see if that works
